I'm a tractor newbie. I bought a new tractor, Backhoe and bush hog. The tractor was delivered with the backhoe attached. But I needed to use the bush hog first to clear some land. I was able to take the backhoe off and attach the bush hog. I placed the backhoe in a three-way stance at the same level, so when it came time I could backup and reattach it. However, I didn't place jack stands underneath and the legs pushed out. Now the backhoe body is sitting flat on the ground with the legs to the sides. I've thought of digging a small hole and using a floor jack to lift the backhoe and then place jack stands underneath it. Is this the right way of doing this? Am I thinking of this the wrong way? I know I'm not the only one this has happened to before. I haven't tried to use the hydraulic bucket arm to help lift it. And I don't know what that would do. Any help is appreciated.
