It's a work in progress.
Looking into what kubotasam brought up.
I want to make sure it's got great support and long use.
Also looking into replacing the tires and upping the size to get a better foot print.

Kubotasam, can you be more specific about where/how the frame attaches to the rear axle? I can't figure that out on my B7100.
Thanks!

I've checked it out and I will be making up 2 rearward frame section to add to the design.
I'll show in pictures a good place to attach them to the axle housing that I believe will make it super stiff and strong!

I'm sure you've got all the resources you need, but if it would help, I can get pics or dims from my 7100 loader. Don't recall the number, but it's the one with the front PTO pump and it's own self contained system.

Great job!
I think you said you were going to make a skid steer QA frame for the FEL. Please do keep in mind that it pushes the bucket out another 6 or 8 inches, and significantly reduces your capabilities. It also affects - badly - your CG, and makes turning close to trees or buildings a challenge.
It doesn't take that long to change the bucket with pins; if I had it to do over I would skip the QA and stick with them.

My loader uses the onboard HST Hydro pump and system to run the loader.
A self contained unit can have some advantages over the HST linked unit.

The mounting of the loader is not of much use to me as I've made all my own parts, but MikeBravo might want to see it.:D Who knows I might be able to steal an idea or two off of it.;)

I'm still on the fence on the QA frame, will take advice in mind.
I just think that it will take a lot longer than I want to change buckets.
I'm going from a bucket, stump remover bucket, grapple bucket, snow blade, and snow blower.

I just thought if you haven't got one for reference, it might be useful to see what the factory mounts look like, and where they tie in, and how.

If you or anyone want pics, let me know what areas and I'll see what I can get.

And I don't have one to compare, but I'm told (and read) that the self contained are both faster and stronger (higher flow and higher potential pressures).

BadDog,
I would really appreciate some pics showing how and where the frame attaches to the tractor. There are some nuts welded to the sides of the transmission tunnel at the front (3) and rear (2) which I guess are meant for mounting a mower, and I am considering using those, but I don't think that they will be sufficient on their own.
The New Zealand Kubota agents told me that Kubota had never produced a front end loader as an optional extra for the old manual shift B7100, so they couldn't help with drawings.
Thanks in advance!

Wolfman, you do nice work.
There are two pillars of suggestion that really stand out-
1) Because of the size of the B7100 and weight distribution, the bucket or other implement needs to be as close to the front of the tractor as possible. Just the extra length of a QA may greatly diminish the capacity. What is the point of quick attach, if it won't lift anything?
2) Hopefully some of the users of both systems will chime in- it is my understanding that the external pump is the way to go with additional hydraulics, for both speed and lift capacity.

You're looking for a B219 loader.
If that's the one with the front PTO driven pump, that's what I have.

I was going to get pics this afternoon after work, but it's looking like that may not happen. Big t-storm moving in. But I will gladly get the pics, but my memory for doing such things is not great (I don't know why I always forget about taking pics), so if you don't hear from me on it by tomorrow evening, don't hesitate to remind me.

Ok looking forward to pics!
Now everyone has me second guessing my design and work...
I did a lot of calculations and measurements on it and everything looked right on the mark, but I might end up redoing it...:(

Thanks for the pictures!
That was exactly where I had planned on bolting the rear sub-frame support bars to the rear end.

I have mine bolted to the main frame a little farther back than yours. It doesn't look like your model has the same bolt holes as mine.

Can you do me one more favor and measure the distance from the end of the loader arms / back of bucket to the front of the front tires with the loader bucket on the ground.

Glad to be a help. There wasn't a clear place to take a measurement. So I set it up with tape and block for scale, and a picture so you can make of it what ever you wish. The left edge of the block is tangent to the leading edge of the tire.

Hopefully this helps. See the same album.

Many thanks, BadDog. Those pictures have helped immensely. Now I can work out exactly what steel I need to buy for the job.
I don't have a front PTO, just the one for the 3-point linkage, so I will be utilising the existing pump and powering my loader off the alternative port under the seat. It may be as slow as a wet week, but I'm retired, so that's fine!

MikeBravo, A better place to hook the loader in is in-line with the pump, there is a block that is located on the right side at the bell housing just for that.
There is a block that you can get to connect it in, but for the life of me I've not been able to find one. I think I'm just going to end up cutting the lines and putting on fitting to attach hoses to the loader valve.

Did the tape on block give you what you need? It was not the best photo, taken at night by flashlight. If you need better, or something different, let me know.
