I have found a really good deal locally on a used B2672 - a 5ft wide angling snow blade for the front of my B2620. It, however, does not have hydraulics on it. I plan to remedy that. Kubota makes this same blade as an OEM option with factory hydraulics that looks like the below.

Kubota also makes a conversion kit (B2671, I believe) that converts a non-hydraulic B2672 to one with hydraulics. But online, it is listed at places like Messicks or Colemans for north of $700.

I can do it myself for cheaper, I am sure. I mean, what are we talking about... A cylinder and a few hoses with fittings?

What I can't find so far is info on the size hydraulic cylinder that is the best fit in there. Is there anybody here at the forum that has a B2672 with hydraulics that can shoot some good pix of the hydraulic cylinder on their plow for me. I'd really like to see any plate or sticker on the hydraulic arm that lets me know sizing. Many thanks in advance
I had the exact hydraulically angeled Kubota blade for my B3350 but I bundled the tractor and all accessories with my farm when I sold it about two years ago, so no photos. Nice blade but, being FEL mounted it is a bit far out front. I used a Kubota weight box filled with bagged play ground sand and F & R chains on my 3350. You will need both chains and counterbalance to move serious snow, especially on slopes, as I had.

FWIW, depending upon how you value your time, you might wish to reconsider the Kubota package. It is complete, well thought out and easy to install.

Of course, you will also need a third function valve. This Kubota package will cost more than the hydraulic angle package.

I also used a hard rubber cutting edge to protect my asphalt. It works well but wears quickly.

Chains might be in my future but we get so little snow that it might work ok without.

Weight out back should not be an issue as the backhoe is back there at this time of year

Keep reading the totality of my thread. My DIY install of hydraulics to the front blade was relatively quick/easy and ⅓ the cost of OEM.

Front third function and rear hydraulic toplink already installed DIY style this past summer - full thread here at the site. I went with a real valve - no Summit solenoids - so I could easily adjust both front and rear incrementally. That install was a bit more complicated and about $700 or less.

I have the blade shoes adjusted to keep the blade a bit off the ground but I know this is not a fix-all. I also have a ABS pipe slit and slid over the blade for the gravel.
