Does anyone with a B26 TLB have this 'device' on their tractor? Anyone know what it is or what it does?
On mine, this is located on the subframe on the right side. It has three hoses and seems to be connected to the transmission block and the backhoe. The 'actuator' is connected to nothing. I've never seen any indication of it moving and I've never been able to move the actuator (never tried to force it though). I've looked at numerous pictures of other B26s and have not yet seen another one with this device in place.
I've looked through my Workshop Manual and Parts Catalog for the B26 and never found any mention or picture of it.
My thought is that it is some sort of diverter. But I don't know if it is frozen or just not made to be actuated manually. Perhaps it does something while the backhoe is in use. But I can't see it while sitting on the tractor and using the backhoe since it is under the footboard where the forward/reverse pedal is located.
