My pooch was indicating an issue outside. My back door camera picked up a bear outside. Unable to download the video for some reason.
I'm glad that I didn't open the door and tell my pooch to "Go get 'em!"

As far as I can tell, that pretty much describes any bulldog ever.

I had a mixed hound once that had really, REALLY muscular hindquarters. Basically, the dog had butt cheeks. If she was laying down and farted, it sounded just like a human fart. A beans, boiled eggs and beer human fart. Except that it smelled worse.

She'd get this disgusted look on her face and get up and move. Like it was my fault.

To be fair, on occasion...it WAS my fault...
I have experienced Weimaraner farts, bulldog farts, great dane farts and mutt farts. NOTHING can hold a candle to a cat fart. Tho they are very infrequent (thank you), when they DO happen, they will stop you cold and make you choke. You can literally TASTE them. Think about vaporized cat food and death mixed. The worst part is that they aren't loud, sort of a Pffffffffttttt, and 20 seconds later you are begging to be put out of your misery.

He loves outside.

Especially loves outside with mom and dad by the fire.

He’s going to sleep well tonight. Had a busy Saturday.

He’s a really good boy.

At a year and 4 months it's great to have a dog back in the house.
bear - good for you!! 👍

I was thinking about you when I posted the picture of Geddy last night….was thinking the time was getting close….

Enjoy! Like I said before, it’s not just good for the dog, but it’s good for the owner too….😉

You're right, I needed him as much as he needs us. I'm feeling a little guilty after my last 3 dogs where beagles and will probably always be my favorite however this old body wasn't very polite when it reminded me that it's too old to chase dogs through the woods any more and it'll (hopefully) be great to be able to let my dog off a leash when we're walking.

Thanks for the words of wisdom RCW. ;):)

I guess I didn't word that right, Digger is a year and 4 months old that we rescued this week. I kinda made it sound as though we haven't had a dog in that long, ok, now even I'm confused.
