This is Chrichton, my daughter's Akita. He's helping us clean up after a day working on Mom's new She Shed.

He's also a pretty good baby-sitter for my Great Granddaughter, Izzy.

Some guard dog she is. Had a lizard sneak in and all it got was her lifting her head to look at it.

You should try giving gypsy a bath   She likes to attack the water stream [emoji14] Neighbors can tell it's bath time if I'm stripped down to just a bathing suit and flip flops and messing with her kiddy pool.

I figured out really fast to run her around the yard for a bit chasing the stream to wear her out before the bath.

Ok, some experimenting with the photos whole talking about our latest experience with our baby girl.

She has a hard time getting rid of her winter coat. Summer coat, no issue with. So we gave her a bath this weekend to loosen up all the matted hair.

A couple hours after her bath, all that hair released. 😱😱😱😱 6 walmart sacks, and the roomba crying uncle. Not counting it looking like several animals exploded in the yard.

Neighbor made a comment that an animal got got, while I was walking Gypsy. I said nope, watch this!!!! And started petting her. Well that sent a large fog of hair down the street. 😂🤣😂🤣😂

Thankfully Shedagedon only lasts about 24 hours.

Izzy explaining something to "her" puppy. The bond there is amazing. Chrichton is fascinated by anything Izzy says or does.

Country life at it's finest. The two boys are my older grandson's sons, the little gal in the middle is my younger grandson's daughter.

Chrichton can be a handful, but he's as gentle as a kitten with those kids.

You mind hurrying up and getting to that bone?

We call the crust the bone and yes Wrigley gets all the bones!

Dental treats are called "Toll Bones" in our house. I have to pay the toll to be able to get into the bedroom to go to bed.

🤣 the dental sticks are used here when I take a shower. When wrigley was a pup she would destroy stuff when I was in the shower, started giving here the sticks and it would occupy her. Now 9 years later I still can’t take a shower without giving her one. And she has my routine down, if it ever changes she knows

Similar here. Gypsy has been really good about chewing her toys. She acts out if we are on vacation though and my mom isn't available to come down and puppy sit. A couple dog beds have been converted to itty bitty pieces.

We forgot to tell mom about the toll bones when she started dog sitting for us. The first night she escorted mom to where they were kept 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂

Mom figured something was up when she was escorted to the pantry. so she dug through there and found them.

My brother has a rabbit at his house that needs to be "tucked in" at night, with a few ear scratches, a carrot. If not it will drive you bonkers. Mom ended up calling my brother at 2am because the bloody thing wasn't chilling out and she was contemplating turning it into stew.

That's when he informed her that the rabbit needed to be fed a carrot, scratch it's ears, and tell it good night. If you don't do all three it will drive you absolutely bonkers. 😂🤣😂🤣 After that ordeal, gypsy is a walk in the park and a good knitting helper 🙄🙄🙄 Ok, good for a walk in the park. But she's a typical girl that loves shopping. So any bag is open game for inspection, and those balls of yarn are so much fun to play with 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂😂🤣😂

Tesla the wolf has a habit of eating seat belts if I don't take her out of the truck, no matter where I go, no matter how long.
She's up to 14 and at $200 a pop it gotten a bit pricey!
Do you know you can get extended warranty / accident policies to cover that kind of damage, the insurance adjusters are always a little baffled when I tell them a wolf got bored / ticked off and ate them!
