This is my GSP. We got her last December. She will literally fall asleep sitting up. Took the blanket pic this morning. She fell backwards. Woke herself up. Then climbed over me to lay on my side. So I covered her back in the blanket and we Had a 15 min power nap.
She is a 50lb lap dog. Training is going well, she is a gsp so the energy level can sometimes be off the charts lol

Maybe, but if it is one seizure every couple of months that is pretty good control. Fingers crossed it remains manageable. The breed of dog I have, the Belgians, have some with a seizure gene, and how it shows up is very variable. Xmas has a lot of excitement and stress with it, and may have triggered a seizure. Talk to your vet, but maybe wait and see if another occurs before a change in meds. Wishing all the best for Ollie.Dammit- - maybe I jinxed it…. Just as we were getting Christmas dinner ready, Ollie had another seizure.
Last was October 2.
He recovered well, but guessing more to come without some medication changes.

Won't get into details, but Ollie's had a rough week after his first seizure Christmas Day.
A friend of the Mrs. dropped this off today. Daughter in law is an Art teacher, and obviously a gifted artist herself. She lifted it off a Facebook picture the Mrs. made.
We had no idea this was in the works.
It really captures the "O-man" in his older days.
Not by our directive either, another friend also did a portrait of him, but it honestly wasn’t so good. The thought was fantastic.
For 2 people to paint your dog shows how popular he is in our community.
We’re going to miss him when he’s gone….let’s hope we’ve still got some time before that happens…..

I’m so sad to read the latest RCW. I dont know you and didn’t know Ollie. But I can see your family and friends truly loved Ollie and no doubt you gave Ollie the best home and life full of good times. Remember the good times RCW. I shed a tear for you and your family because gosh dang it..it hurts. Rest In Peace Ollie. You were part of a great family, and will be missed by your family and friends.
These are my ’dogs’. The black one my daughter heard at about 1 week old hidden in a car engine at target. Probably rode 20 miles to be found.
