use the plastic version and epoxy a thick,big washer to the bottom, then add a circl of magnetic pad( fridge magnet works great)

I would think a couple nuts or fishing weights would give the plastic ones enough weight

One of the things that makes me prefer glass is that most tapping fluids get pretty gummy after a while, and the glass lets me just zap it with brake cleaner and it's clean again.

Glue a neodymium magnet to the bottom, that will make them super stable!

Or just drop it in the bottle with the cutting fluid, no more annoying flakes of metal gumming up the works! HAHAHA

Just for fun I weighed the 2 bottles, smaller one weighed in at 38 grams and the larger ones no lid was 78 grams.

Added screwdrivers to see if they would turn over, nope. Now I can make them but I was impressed how wel lthey stayed upright.

Do you mean the "bottles not tipping over" or the "Squeaky Clean" shop??!!

I am a little OCD and the picture was taken in my calibration lab at work where I spend most of my life…..I don't share the space with anyone so much easier to keep things in place. I do believe their is a place for everything and everything has a place. So it was not hard for me to get on board with the program.

We have a program we are required to follow called 5S+1 a tool in TEOA. I am also an auditor where I audit other areas weekly to make sure they are up to par. It is a little over the top but it does keep areas organized, free of clutter, and more efficient.

I'll add a pic later, I do share another lab where I do destructive testing. My coworkers side is a train wreck. In fact, I put tape on the bench to separate our work bench as his clutter kept making it to my side He does not buy into the 5S+1 but the powers to be will get him on board I'm sure I leave it along. He did say he likes my side better but was not there yet!

Looking to buy some of these bottles- down to my last one, and they are perfect for brushing on oil for tapping, drilling, turning. etc.
They are impossible to tip over, but somewhat fragile when you knock them off the bench onto the concrete floor.

I know these aren't quite the same style but thought I'd mention them anyway. I keep a few of these on a shelf and on the lathe when turning small delicate items, small commutators, etc. These are 1/2 oz and with the rubber stopper they don't spill if tipped over. The needle oiler sure makes dispensing a small amount of oil easy when you don't want a mess slung all over. You can get them in 1/2, 1, 2, 4 oz sizes also. They show up on Ebay if you search "precision bottle oiler", "precision needle oiler", etc.

I use those exact bottles myself, plus a larger size, 2 oz , I think.
