Hi everyone, I'm retired with a lot of time on my hands and thought about adding hydraulics on my L3010.
The tractor doesn't have anything now.
I was going to mount a valve to run a cylinder which I could mount to my back blade or anything else I make for the 3pt hitch.
I worked as a mechanic at a foodplant and worked with pneumatics and hydraulics.
1st question about valves, it seems to me that a open center valve would let the cylinder float and a closed center
valve would keep the cylinder in position, but the fluid wouldn't go back to tank.
2nd question, on the hydraulic block side of the engine I assume the B port is pressure, but were would the tank port on the valve
go to, C from implement (outlet) or D from implement (tank port).
Thanks for any help
Mark
