My 4610 forward/reverse pedal is slow returning to neutral position. I blew linkage with compressed air to remove dirt, I used penetrating oil/grease on all fittings and tightened tension spring. It did not make much difference. Am I missing something??? thanks

My BX2670 is the same. I’ve adjusted the spring tension which helped the peddle return a little faster. I guess I just am more acquainted to it now compared to my belt drive JD lawn tractor with Hydro drive.

The 2-way damper on the linkage is supposed to add controlled spring force for neutral return too. Maybe its getting weak or sluggish? (like me?)

Disconnect the dampaner and see if it speeds up significantly, if it does you need to get a new dampaner. ;)
