3 point won't lift after fluid change

Somewhere, sometime, I saw a filter that had a thin clear plastic sheet over the end, the purpose of which was to keep debris out of the filter until it was installed. Any possible chance your filter had one of these, and you did not remove it before installing the filter?

Just a WAG...but you never know!

This thought crossed my mind too - but I said to myself, there IS NO WAY that little film of plastic is still on the filter!!!
