I've heard a thousand debates over left and right between mechanics and operators so we typically refer to street side/curb side or driver's/passenger's etc. but I like the idea of port and starboard too!Heres a “novice tip” for the arms…..I labeled mine “port” and “starboard” with a marker…..
Anybody else would have done left and right, ,,lol
On a BX, the arms are identicalHeres a “novice tip” for the arms…..I labeled mine “port” and “starboard” with a marker…..
Since they are rarely on, it would take a few minutes to figure out which side is which.
Would it be possible to use them as permanent ballast on the tractor?Even though L35's originally included the 3pt arms, it's pretty rare to find one for sale that has them still around. Like mine, many have never had the BH off, and the arms get misplaced.
I'd have written "One side" and "Other side".Heres a “novice tip” for the arms…..I labeled mine “port” and “starboard” with a marker…..

I understand on some models there's a place to stow them, but not on the L35. The BH makes good ballast though.Would it be possible to use them as permanent ballast on the tractor?
hmm, on small boats the driver is on the right, er starboard side..... just to add to the cornfusion....I've heard a thousand debates over left and right between mechanics and operators so we typically refer to street side/curb side or driver's/passenger's etc. but I like the idea of port and starboard too!![]()
I thought they were stored on the subframe under the left step?I understand on some models there's a place to stow them, but not on the L35. The BH makes good ballast though.
no driver on a boat..hmm, on small boats the driver is on the right, er starboard side..... just to add to the cornfusion....
There's a captain. And the captain must be sober. The helmsman, however........no driver on a boat..![]()
They do know how to drive, they just can't always couple the words together with the direction.yeesh, if they don't know their left form they're right..they should NOT be driving !
If they don't know they're from their, they shouldn't be posting on the internet? ;-)yeesh, if they don't know their left form they're right..they should NOT be driving !
Not the same. Left and right depends on the direction you are facing. Port and starboard do not.Heres a “novice tip” for the arms…..I labeled mine “port” and “starboard” with a marker…..
