Looking for some help. I have a 2022 Kubota xg850 sidekick. It had been running fine I parked it one night went out the next day and it wouldn't start. It cranks and cranks and eventually (just about kills the battery) it will turn over and run but will start hard if I turn it off. I installed a new battery , checked the spark plugs, cleaned the fuel injectors and made sure they were tripping. The fuel pump seems to be pushing plenty of fuel into the rails. I pulled the injectors out and tried to start the engine and they are barley, if at all squirting fuel. It is showing no codes that I can find how ever it did once flash a code about a coolant sensor error.

If this is the 'model from Hell', maybe it should have it's own 'subforum' ? Some oddball Subaru engine with LOTS of problems....

Hmm, wonder if there's gas in the oil ?

re:

Yup, but according to Kubota that's within spec.

WHAT ? Since when is gasoline in the 4 stroke engine oil ACCEPTABLE ???
K must be taking a page out of GM's engine warranty handbook. My "new" GMC truck with 6L gas engine and piston slap was burning 1+L of oil every tank of gas. That was considered "normal" and "in-spec". Was louder than on old school bus starting up on a Monday morning at -20oF.

gas in crankcase isn't unusual on a few different applications. Specifically, those that idle a lot and/or run low engine speeds for short distances (babying). Kawasaki has/had a huge issue with it.

you're gonna want to check the fuel pressure. It sounds like everything else is ok, you have volume, but how much pressure do you have?
