I went to all the stores and auto parts around and all they have is Kubota UDT.Is that good and UDT2 overrated?
I doubt any of them had UDT of any type. They had some brand that listed UDT on the back label.I went to all the stores and auto parts around and all they have is Kubota UDT.Is that good and UDT2 overrated?

Any good quality universal tractor transmission fluid will be fine. I expect others will tell you otherwise.gear drive and it was universal type with Kubota UDT it said anyhow.
For a gear transmission, UDT2 might be considered over-rated....all they have is Kubota UDT. Is that good and UDT2 overrated?

You will only get real UDT, and SUDT2 from a Kubota dealer.

That's why I said Mystik JT-5, it's much cheaper than Kubota branded fluid, and it's good fluid.

The front axle is not connected to the hydraulic system and has its own fill plug.
