I went to all the stores and auto parts around and all they have is Kubota UDT.Is that good and UDT2 overrated?

I doubt any of them had UDT of any type. They had some brand that listed UDT on the back label.I went to all the stores and auto parts around and all they have is Kubota UDT.Is that good and UDT2 overrated?
Is your tractor gear drive or HST?

Any good quality universal tractor transmission fluid will be fine. I expect others will tell you otherwise.

For a gear transmission, UDT2 might be considered over-rated.
if you had HST, it's the only thing I would use. UDT is fine for gear drive.

That's why I said Mystik JT-5, it's much cheaper than Kubota branded fluid, and it's good fluid.

I just paid $140 per pail for the SUDT2 that is going into my L3901 HST at the 400 hour service. I made the choice to spend $28 per gallon because SUDT2 has documented performance advantages over other formulations that are of (marginal??) benefit in an HST tractor.
I have two pails of Traveller Premium UTF sitting next to the SUDT2 that probably cost $15 per gallon. I have been using that in my B7200DT for 30 years.. I made that choice because it is a lower cost generic formulation very much like standard Kubota UDT and there is no real adavantage to spending more for a brand name with similar properties.
Kubota SUDT2 is a somewhat unique formulation with just a few equivalents which are all similarly priced. Kubota UDT is not at all unique and the shelves are filled with very acceptable and much less expensive equivalents.

after searching around i found Kubota had super UDT@ cheaper than the rest.So i have Kubota hydralic oil and filters in my tractor.Super UDT@ was 115 bucks for 5 gallons.
All i could find was Mystic JT-9 so i ended up at dealer getting it cheaper than the rest.

Well thats a great price on SUDT2 but not cheaper than the rest.
The front axle is not connected to the hydraulic system and has its own fill plug.

I watched several u tube videos and nothing was said about that.Is that the only 2 places to fill from? Does it use hydraulic oil too?

This is yin your operators manual. The front axle uses SAE 80 or 90 gear oil or UDT/SUDT.
