I'm told that these are a factory Kubota B7100 part, not sure if the are still available, but here is a pic I found. Slows the pour, but nice to know nothing is getting in the tank.
A quick check with Coleman's shows it's still available.

I found those 5 gallon Scribner jugs a bit awkward because of the handle location. There is an indention on the bottom which helps but I still always seem to be hugging it. I now only use the orange ones for Diesel storage at the farm, but the green ones get regular use as my sawmill lube (soapy water) containers.

I like the green ones- never seen them with color matched caps. All mine are black or white.

The green jugs came with green caps and I later painted the white ones on the orange jug......orange. ;)

My thinking is that you will get much more water condensation with a partially filled fuel tank. Both of my tractors as well as the sawmill are always filled to the top at the end of the day.
That is a great practice. I do the same as well as grease everything. This way there is no fresh metal to get wet at night and no getting smelly/dirty first thing in the morning.

I'm guessing the spendy "spill proof" nozzles will only fit their cans? Somebody said they have a wider opening, so this is probably the case?

I like, and am stealing, the "platform" on the loader arm idea but am having trouble wrapping my head around $35 plastic fuel cans. I also have lots of gas cans that I've put vents in, maybe I'll just paint/tape a few of them yellow. Right now I re-purposed some of my daughters yellow and green hair ties to wrap around the handle when there is diesel in the can, but need a more permanent mark.

Got to try my 2.5 gal orange can today and I love it!
Easy to fill from the 5 gal can, very easy to lift, and very controllable when pouring into the tractor filler neck.
I'm going to call this a big success.

I cheat. I use a 12v pump. I figure it was free, because I bought it to pump out a half-full home heating oil tank. I got the tank and the oil for free from a Craigslist ad. That's over a hundred gallons of #2 diesel. Yeah, I think that pump paid for itself! :)

I plan to pour a slab and set the tank up on it, then install the 12v pump with a filter setup, and a high power quick disconnect to plug into the tractor.

I also use one of these for the 5 gallon pails, when needed:

Because I'm not as tough (or young) as I used to be, fueling my B7100 with a 5gal fuel can is a PITA. In addition to having to hold up that heavy can, I must reach over/past the FEL, and the filler neck of my tank has a fine strainer screen, so it must be filled very slowly. I think it would be much easier if I can get a 2.5gal (or 2.7gal) fuel can like this:
https://www.cyclegear.com/accessories/tuff-jug-utility-jug
My problem is I cannot find this smaller style can in YELLOW; every other color, but not in yellow. (for diesel) I might have to buy one in ORANGE, for Kubota.
Any body know a source? Thanks.
How about pre-straining your fuel into a smaller jug then not using the strainer when in the awkward position? That way you can still buy 5 gallons at a time and save trips to the store. And a funnel in the tank goes a Long way.

In post #69 above, the smaller can works quite well, and when I need more fuel, I fill a 5 gal & the 2.5 gal can.

OK, gotcha. But there really is no strain with the small can, and it is very easy to lift & control. Hardest part now is lifting the 5 gal can into the bed of my F350 after filling.
