His SVL95-2 is serial number 34889, and his engine serial number is 2HA2810, according to the PIN plate picture he posted. His picture does not show the LH part of the tag where it says engine serial. ;)

The problem with running it while low on oil is the pinion and ring gear bearings. The pinion shaft bearings are set up quite a ways from the bottom of the axle tube. They are the ones that melt and seize.
