    B7800 will not start

    Turn key to on and move pto back and forth then off same with throttle pedal. Try to push switches under seat, may be sticky. Also press clutch pedal up and down. So far that has worked on my B7800. Usually it was me bumping the pto lever.

    so true, for a simple test he might just want to put the voltmeter on the batter and watch the voltage as he cranks it over. let us know what the reading goes down to. On the other hand it could be good and have bad connections or cables. good luck

    Might want to just tie in a hidden toggle switch into the seat switch. I ordered a couple of keys for my B7800 on Amazon for under $10.

    I believe that will be a good choice for your tractor. I had to pay $1000 for a new one because they were asking too much for used ones in my area.

    That flap is the cutting edge when it is folded down. Mine folded down pinned in place. How wide is that box. I put a 5.5 foot one on my B7800 like your tractor
