Starves for fuel

I have a B20 and it’s starving for fuel. I cleaned the fuel tank but it still periodically starves for fuel. If I stir the fuel it picks back up.

You machine has a simple fuel system. How did you clean the tank as it sounds like junk is collecting in the outlet fitting.

could you have a plugged vent in the fuel cap?

You say, "If I stir the fuel it picks back up." That indicates something is still in the tank or the fitting as Dave suggest.

I drained the tank which was easy and the fuel came out the hose like there wasn’t any obstruction. Then I took it off put gasoline in it shook it around and dumped it out. Twice. Then blew air back through the hose dried out the tank and put it back on.

I should try running it without the cap.
