Yes. Seems to be a little involved for a very small leak. Not that i'm not capable & do have the tooling to complete the task. The more I look a the diassembly in WSM I think I just keep a eye on it. THANKS
L3130 1200hr seal leak 1/4 to 1/2 cup in a yr & a 1/2 / 80-90 gear oil / 70 hours run time / every thing is tight / just one side /Am I looking for work in changing the seal item # 9 in repaire manl. Thoughts on this THANKS
Never called it that. But back in the 70's you would "run in the New brakes" on the stock cars. Was to polish off the brake fibers & match the shoe drum. Don't know if it made a differance but every body did it.
There all over pricing on face book from $50 to &250 / Your 90 is fine just bevel the edges to get penatration. I beveled all of this including the fillet welds try to get 100% when ever posable.
L3130 can you install a fuel shut off cable to over ride fuel solenoid. / Having electrical problems. / Need to use tractor. / Have changed "ALL" switches , OPC timer , Starter Relay , ignition switch & the fuel shutoff solenoid.
Put every thing back to OEM engine still no crank / jumped the starter tractor runs & operates as normal /turns on &off with switch. just will not crank with key switch. / starter relay ??
Thanks for the input & yes to all the above. Before this no cranking issue the fuel solenoid would shut the engine off with now one on it just sitting there idling. ( it is a new solenoid ) changed it when this first started FYI
wired the solenoid back to OEM have dash lights power to solenoid (it cilkes when ig is turned on / have power on all 3 poles out of ig switch when switch is in start position / there is only wire to starter it hase no power when ig is turned to start position / how do you jump these starters...
