    Engine oil interval

It is recommended to change engine oil in the Kubota every 200 hours. I average about 75 hours per year. It would take about 2-3 years to reach that 200 hour mark. Any issues waiting that long? My tractor does very little idle time. Normal use is at 540 pto speed or above.

    Advice on hydraulic quick couplers

Building a new system from scratch what style do you recommend? With the tractor running and hydraulic system pressurized are you able to hook up implements or do you shut the tractor off and bleed pressure?

    Bailey vs Prince hydraulics

I ended up ordering a Bailey Chief 3 spool control valve with one spool float option. Bit more spendy but available. Summit was on backorder. I'll work on best mounting position for my liking. Next to research quick couplers. I like the idea of breakaway (push pull style)

    Bailey vs Prince hydraulics

Not much really. I do like to know who I’m supporting. Try to buy made in USA but that doesn’t always work out.

    Bailey vs Prince hydraulics

Bailey sells both the Chief line and Prince Wolverine. according to them Chief is made in Bulgaria, and the Wolverine line from prince is made in Taiwan.

    Bailey vs Prince hydraulics

I had talked to Bailey and Prince The way I remember the Chief valves were made in Bulgaria. Wolverine valves were made in Asia somewhere. I’ll have to check up on that again.

So the P40 valves from Summit are the same sold by Bailey? I was looking on Summit. Pretty informative.

    Rear remotes

Are you saying there will be one infeed line to the valve and two discharge lines?

    Rear remotes

I looking to add a 3 spool hydraulic valve (tandom center) for rear remotes on my Kubota L3901. The valves I see have a relief valve on them. I am wondering if this is needed as I would add this valve to the power beyond port of the open center system which is regulated pressure. If I understand...

    WR Long rear remotes

Thanks for the input. I like the simplicity and clean install of the electric solenoid style remotes but I agree, a mechanical valve block may be best for my application. i'm gonna pick one up and get creative on the install.

    WR Long rear remotes

I want to add a hydraulic top link. if adding one spool I may add a second or third. I'm looking at WR Long rear remote electronic solenoid kit. Wondering if anyone has installed their kit and can share their experience. Pictures would be helpful. Thank you

    Adding rear hydraulics

Nice setup pictured. You build it or is that a kit? I like that location as normally when operating rear remotes you're side seated looking back. Any issue resting your arm on the hot hydraulic lines?

    Adding rear hydraulics

I already have 3rd function installed for grapple use. My primary interest for rear remotes is hydraulic top link. If I do add the rear remotes I figure might as well add two circuits in case I get a implement requiring hydraulics. I like the idea of electric system due clean install. Only have...

    Adding rear hydraulics

I have a L3901 and don't have any implements that require hydraulics at this time but you never know when a new toy becomes irresistible. For a winter project I'm thinking of adding a 2 circuit system with one for use on top link. I'm thinking I would like to build my own vs buying a universal...

Question for someone with a L3901

I have a LP Quick Hitch and it has been well noted the hitch can hit the rear lights when raised all the way with a shortened 3rd link. Mine is no where close. Plenty of clearance.

Question for someone with a L3901

As when new. Tractor is just over 3 years old. No issues. Never changed or modified anything.
