L1802DT How do you bleed air from the hydraulics?

My L1802DT hydraulics operate slowly when they warm up. I might get an hour's use from my front-end loader and my 3 point hitch then their operation slows to nothing. Changed filter and fluid, but that has not improved the situation. I was told that there may be air in the hydraulic system...

    L1802DT Headlight?

Think I might fab one up. Might cut the cone out with a grinder, then reuse the ring with the three lugs attached. Will need to find a headlight to fit snug.

    L1802DT Headlight?

The bulb isn't the problem. The glass fell out, hence the need to replace the whole thing.

    L1802DT Headlight?

Thought of that but (a) LED is expensive, and (b) I can't find an aftermarket headlight that has the three mounting tabs that come as part of the light. Without these three mounting tabs, you cannot mount the light to the tractor. See image at...

L1802DT Hydraulics question & Manual question

Thanks Wolfman. I was just about to ask the question about whether to use hydro fluid or another oil. I'll take your advice and use the hydro. Also, as you pointed out, I see three plugs near either wheel on the front axle. I took each of the three off, but only got oil out of the bottom...

L1802DT Hydraulics question & Manual question

Thanks for the tip. I painted the hydraulic ones red now. I ended up accidentally draining the engine oil (probably needed it anyway), and the diff oil from the front axle. Now I know which is which, I won't make that mistake again! Thanks to you both for your help. Cheers, A
