Thanks, Jim. With all the information I am getting from you and others on this site, it is like walking out of the darkness and into the light--Lol. It is really nice to know that there are parts out there that will work on this tractor because before now, it has all been a mystery. I can't...

A picture of the other side of the dash of the tractor is on page two of these posts-- Any and all information is so helpful and we very much appreciate all the input--this is somewhat of an adventure for us and because we are both retired, we are doing it on a shoestring budget--LOL

Boyd Tackett is the name that comes to mind when I hear that name. My family has been in this area for ages--and well, being Bowie and Miller Counties, you would think as large as it is, people would not know other people's business, but much like the world, it is not as big as you would like to...

I'm probably going to wear everyone out on here--this Kubota L3001 tractor that we have was given to us because our neighbor had loaned it out to a meth-head. Well, needless to say, the meth-head needed to "fix" it so when our neighbor got it back it was a pile of junk. No radiator, almost all...

Yes, the engine oil filter is towards the front and on the right. It is the engine oil filter that we need.

OK, so today, I learned the difference between a canister oil filter and a cartridge oil filter. Thanks to everyone who is schooling me on these flipping tractors! I guess we didn't know what we were getting ourselves into when I neighbor gave us this thing.

Thank you! I had them confused, it is easy for me to get that way! We needed the cartridge filter, but North Idaho Wolfman pointed us in the right direction! Thanks! I'm so glad I stumbled onto this site. This tractor is going to be the death of us!

Thank you, we looked at this and it really wasn't much help in our situation. I bet it is a good link though for people who know what they are doing--my dad should have taught his daughter better! LOL

    Gray Market Kubota L3001

But is that a hydraulic oil filter? Since I have no clue what I am doing, I'm wondering if that would work for an oil filter--LOL! We looked at it and it looks right, but would that particular oil filter, Wix 57030 be for an engine oil filter? Our problem is if we take the Canaster off, and we...
