Hey folks,a friend is looking at buying a L3400 with 1960 hours on it,it looks to be a very clean machine but the rear wheel seals appear to be weeping slightly on both sides,It is the 8 speed model, should this be a concern or normal to this model ?
I did a total overhaul last year excluding drive chain and gears(someone did them or very well looked after),these were built in Canada for Kubota,JD and Ford.I bought the motor off Amazon, had a shaft that fit the crank handles pipe and assembled from there, feel free to message me for any more...
I bought some Old Kubota Orange from Krylon,it's not old or new and not even up to there standards, for ever to dry and not hard,1st time I have been disappointed with Krylon paint
It's a old snowblower on a old Grey market tractor, when using it I would have to stop, raise the 3 point crank the chute than lower the unit and continue.I installed a 30RPM 12V reversing motor very similar to a power window motor, should be a better experience this winter. All in $65 CDN
Great write up,I have been running one for coming up to 3 seasons now, mine is 1000 watt that is plugged into a WiFi plug I turn on about 2 hours prior to using.
I own a ZL2202DT-M the Z indicating its a Zenhoe or some thing like that,I'm in Canada and found a place a few provinces over that can get me new parts.I ordered a WSM from them, its not a L2202DT but close enough so there HAS to be regular Kubota equivalent, all reference to that model is whited...
Mine was a pain also to register in British Columbia Canada, they also wanted a year, mine was made 1978-1983,I picked 1982,and they needed a picture of the model/serial number plate as it was not a typical 12 digit vin number,it is now in the system.
