    Attaching a Kubota GCK60-30B grass catcher to a B2920 with a BH65 backhoe subframe

I know the official word is that the grass catcher is not compatible with the backhoe, probably because the catcher has a subframe that is supposed to be installed the same place as the backhoe subframe. I bought this as a package used (it was in rough shape). Wondering, has anyone actually...

Big hydraulic fluid leak under right rear axle

Update. I see the vent right next to the fill hole. Not plugged. I've jacked the tractor up and removed the wheels and backhoe subframe and cleaned things up. I can see the axle seal coming out. So it definitely blew the seal. I'll proceed with replacing seals and bearings in both left and right...

What do the little numbers mean in the wiring schematic?

That makes sense. The larger the number, the thicker the wire. Thanks.

What do the little numbers mean in the wiring schematic?

I am looking at the wiring schematic for a B2920 and I see little numbers ranging from 0.85 to 0.5 to 2.0, etc. They appear right next to the wire color. What does these numbers mean? Thanks.

Leak in front axle case from pivot seal

You may be right and it would be wise to plan on replacing the drive shaft seal (#050) when tearing this down. What led me to suspect the front o-ring was that I saw oil coming from the seam in the front between the front mount assemble and the axle case, not any in the back of the axle case. I...

Leak in front axle case from pivot seal

I just bought a 2008 B2920HSD in pretty rough shape and am restoring it. The other day, I drained the oil from front axles and filled it with the prescribed amount of UDT-2 from Kubota. Saw a drip from the center pivot point where the seal would be inside. It was really hard getting the dip...

Big hydraulic fluid leak under right rear axle

Thanks all. Great info. Russel King, unfortunately, the backhoe is installed on the tractor and with the backhoe subframe, it's not possible to even access the seal. I'll have to disconnect the backhoe by hand now (no hydraulics) and then remove the backhoe subframe. It was pretty well pouring...

Big hydraulic fluid leak under right rear axle

Also, Kubota recommends using Three Bond 12060 or equivalent for gasket sealer around the axle housing. I can't seem to find that exact product. I can find Three Bond, but they have many different products. Can anyone point me to the right stuff. Also, any help in finding the hydraulic vent...

Big hydraulic fluid leak under right rear axle

Yes, this is the B2920HSD. I did remove the center drain plug (by the mid PTO) and drained many gallons. Just did not remove the two smaller drain plugs on the bottom of the axle housings. Thanks for the reply RCW and thebicman, noted. Now to fixing it. Any thoughts/encouragement on the...

Big hydraulic fluid leak under right rear axle

Just replaced the hydraulic fluid (Kubota UDT-2 at $100 for five gallons--ouch) and filters. The operator's manual said it took 4 gallons but fluid overflowed at 3.5 gallons. I later looked at the WSM and it said 3.5 gallons, which makes sense from my experience. I didn't unscrew the two drain...

B2920 turns over but not getting fuel

The stop solenoid was bad. It should not click continuously when the key is turned on. It should click once. Probably the secondary winding was bad on the solenoid, so the high current circuit pulled the plunger back but the secondary winding didn't keep it retracted, so the primary circuit kept...

B2920 turns over but not getting fuel

I did have a bad ground on the tractor. I've replaced the bolt (had to re-tap the nut threads because the bolt wouldn't tighten. I'll be replacing the ground terminal cable and wire brushing the plate under the bolt. I'll see if that clears it up. Thanks.

B2920 turns over but not getting fuel

I'm beginning to restore a beat up B2920 and bring it back to life. I've already found a few wiring shorts or opens and now it will turn over but not start. But, if I run 12 volts directly to the stop solenoid bypassing the stop relay and the OPC (I know the stop relay is probably bad or there's...

TG1860 stalls and then wont turn over

Thanks Frank, for the suggestions. Haven't had time, but I like the ideas to start with the battery and fuses. Lugbolt, the TG1860 is diesel. Torch, the engine now stalls after about 10 minutes mowing. So, I'm no longer suspecting it to be related to heat. Here's the update: I run the...

TG1860 stalls and then wont turn over

Just bought a used TG1860, probably a 1999 or 2000. Hour meter says 369 but it's not working, so not sure how many hours. Mows fine for 45 minutes or so then starts to die. It sounds like it's running out of fuel. I turn off the PTO and it recovers for a moment then stalls out completely. I can...

    Shop manual for TG1860

Thanks North Idaho Wolfman for the quick reply. I suspected the same as I got a virus the last time I tried to download one of those manuals. I've gone ahead and purchased the manual from Coleman Equipment. Now the fun begins.

    Shop manual for TG1860

Just bought a used TG1860 that runs and mows. Of course, there are problems and I'm looking for where to get the shop manual. I can see parts lists, etc., but not the WSM. I'd be ok with pdf or paper. Looking forward to hearing. Thanks.
