What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

The part I cut was hung up on the main section of the tree. No chance of falling. I cut like that to keep the truck from kicking back when I had to shover it down with the FEL.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Did some tree work this afternoon. Took down part of a damaged Cedar and some Cherry. I hate Cedar trees. They are a nuisance for many reasons.

    Daily Chuckle

The term shemale has entered the chat. To all: DON'T Google if you are unfamiliar.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Ahh, for therapy regarding the love of those cold Montana Winters? ;) You have a beautiful State, but I just can't stand the cold. When I was younger, I spent 6 weeks of Summer at the IU geology field camp near Bozeman. Incredible scenery and climate. I live in Southern Indiana and it's...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I'm hoping being caught without a developed nest this late in the season, they won't survive Winter. I'm gonna have to remember to get some spray before I cut firewood in the future. At least if there is a Cherry tree on the list. :giggle:

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Cut some firewood this afternoon. Wild Cherry. Carpenter ants had apparently setup shop inside.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Picked up 225 bales this afternoon. Here in S Indiana, we've had 4 days of incredible weather for August. Low to mid 80s and low humidity. Normally we are in mid 90s and high humidity, making it miserable. Picking up hay was fun!

It's a disease that has no cure..........WTF did he do now???

Here is a sign I have on my wall that you may want to try to cut. I tried to attach a cut ready (G-Code) file but it's not allowed. If you want to give me an email address, I'll send you the file. It's about a 15" diameter oval.

It's a disease that has no cure..........WTF did he do now???

Don't get discouraged. This CNC table is going to be something you'll love once you master it, but it will involve some growing pains. The Langmuir forum has tons of good info and there are people there really willing to help. Don't get frustrated. It takes a while to get up and running...

It's a disease that has no cure..........WTF did he do now???

No argument here. I'm retired from Toyota and used CAD there a lot so adopting Fusion 360 wasn't too bad for me, but I've seen a lot of people go through what @Runs With Scissors is now. It's rough at first, but definitely worth it in the end. Luckily, 2D satisifies most of the needs for us...

It's a disease that has no cure..........WTF did he do now???

I don't think you lost everything. I still use (3yrs now) the non-commercial (free) version. He said he was learning F360 anyway, so I was just trying to help lighten his computer load. I know everyone likes certain software for different reasons, so I usually don't say one is better than...

It's a disease that has no cure..........WTF did he do now???

I only have a minute here so I'll shoot one quick piece of advice: on the circles, in order to eliminate the divots at the edge increase the lead-in distance and it will force the piece point further away from the edge of the circle. Edit: For example, set lead-in distance equal to radius and...

Would you buy the same tractor again or a different one?

I have 14 acres with about 30% wooded. Also, there is a 4-acre hay field. I live in S Indiana, so not a lot of snow. In 2007 I bought a slightly used (125 hrs) Grand L3130 open cab. HP (31) wise it's the perfect tractor for my property. It has the glide shift trans with FEL. I have mower...

Now don't you folks who spent all that money on grapple buckets feel silly...? ;)

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Honestly, I'm calling it more of a controlled descent. I was cutting loose one of the larger branches and felt the trunk start to roll. I knew I could: stay put and hope for the best; jump and land on my feet, chainsaw above water. I chose humiliation and a dry chain saw. Besides...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I may or may not have fallen in the water yesterday removing this maple tree from my pond. But, I am glad we are well below normal on rainfall. ;)

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

2006 L3130, 850 hrs: I lubed front to rear, washed, cleaned and repainted battery bracket, changed engine oil/filter, hydraulic filter, checked many other small items, and... fuel filter/o-rings. First time since new. Don't be like me. Conquer your fear of getting air in the fuel lines!

    A bolt and nut

You got off easy. I just paid $12.00 for two of these clips (only needed 1) at O'Reilly Auto Parts. Charcoal Canister clip. PO had broken it and tried to use masking tape. Of course the CE lights been on since about 2 weeks after I bought the Jeep. Amazon has 77 piece set for $9.99. I am...

1,000 hour review of an L4701 from squatch253

I have a Taylor Way (Italian made) backhoe attachment for my L3101. It was originally sold as a 3 point hitch backhoe. I got lucky and found a used Kubota subframe and made some brackets to adapt the TW unit to that frame which comes forward to the loader arms.. The big advantage of that...

    L3710 GST clutch operation

This was discussed a month or two ago and it came out during that thread that these GST tractors are equipped with a light duty clutch. Therefore, you should try to use them sparingly. Scared the crap out of me because I've owned a 2006 GL3130 since 2007. It had 125 hrs when purchased and now...
