Glad you posted back with the results of what was found. Good it was a relatively simple fix.

We ran between 500 to 1500 lbs of front weights on our tractors we farmed with. We had a fleet of around 10 tractors of various sizes and brands. The only time we removed weights was when we either put on the tanks for crop spraying while planting or put on the snow plow frame.

It will probably “Run” it ok as far as power enough to run the PTO at proper speed. But it will push the tractor around if you operate it on hills. We had one, when everything was tuned up nice, it was a nice mowing machine. Sucked, pulling the cutter bar out to sharpen or replace knives.

That rim can be pounded back into shape with time, effort and patience. The tire looks like you drive around all the time in 4wd on dry pavement.
