It really depends on where your quick couplers are in relation to your cylinder fittings. I don’t think there is a one size fits all answer. I used scraps of garden hose to mock up mine before buying the hoses. Jack

I have float on both valves. I find it to be a benefit (providing that your cylinders do not have check valves), especially with my box blade and scraper blade. Jack

Box blade size is somewhat dependent on your terrain as well as your tractor width. If you have steep areas to maintain, you need to consider the traction factor on a slope. Jack

I live in Western NC now. All of the wells casings are 6” PVC. When I lived in FL, all the casings were 4” PVC. The difference is in water levels. Much higher water table in southern FL. 4” wells are common there. Also common to have city water, and a well for irrigation. Jack
