I just bought a Cat 1 top link cylinder. I'm going to get the hydraulic hoses made at a hydraulic shop.
I'm going to get 3/8" hose with the appropriate ends (see picture) but get a 24" and 30" length respectively.
What length hose are you running on your top link cylinder to rear remote?

It really depends on where your quick couplers are in relation to your cylinder fittings. I don’t think there is a one size fits all answer. I used scraps of garden hose to mock up mine before buying the hoses.

Well I know of one user that stated his 36" hoses were too long. Fit Rite Hydraulics uses one 30" and one 36". If you have a MX5400 what are your lengths?

I have 36" and they are a little long. I have not had any problems with the extra length and use Ball bungee cords to secure hoses to ram and each other.
