Looks like you missed most of the ice? My trees didn't fare too well.

Hydraulic powered pump for concrete mixer

That 100 lb-ft is acting through ~6:1 multiplication, so I don't think OP will be short on torque. Looking at it from a hp perspective, some of the cheap mixers run off a 1/2 hp motor. I'm not going to calculate the hydraulic hp, but I'm pretty sure he's got plenty 'nuff. When you've got fresh...

Anyone enjoying consecutive days and nights of too cold weather?

I'll take anything over no power and water. I'm in west Tn with power and water, but the streets are ice. I haven't been out since Friday evening, should have bought more bread. But my L35 Katy, my nephew and my sister are in north central Ms. They got sleet and freezing rain. Power went off...

Hydraulic powered pump for concrete mixer

That was my original thought too. But if you look back at the pictures he posted, the way the mixer is made makes direct drive impractical. Besides, the 540 motor is probably a little cheaper.

What is going on , with this site?

Spectrum i'net was down from about 1PM to 7 yesterday. They blamed it on 'third party fiber'. It went down around 1 again today and they're predicting 5-6:30 to fix. Maybe this indicates a more widespread problem ⛄? (that's a snowman shrug)

    2021 L4701, Battery Issue

I measure the tray and height and note where the + and - cables are, then get the biggest battery that'll fit. Size doesn't seem to affect the price and a little extra weight just improves traction. When the Ford needed a battery, NAPA had a pallet of truck batteries, so that's what it got.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

While I'm in west Tn housebound, but with power, poor little Katy is in north Miss at ground zero. My sister took this picture this morning. No damage to the shed. About 80% of the county is without power. Yesterday, there was a medical emergency at the end of the road. She said the crew had to...

To Sell or not to Sell L3010

I think you should price the replacement before you sell that one. I'm pretty sure you can't buy a new BX for $10 grand. The last gas tractors would probably be at least 30 years old. Having grown up on gas tractors, I can tell you there are good reasons diesels took over. Is this place a...

Hey, he's in Texas 🏜, where they drill for oil, not water. He could probably get one or two at the scrap yard. 🤠

Need help finding a hydraulic cylinder wiper

A final thought. Since 22 x 34 seems to be more standard, have your gland machined from 33 to 34mm.

Need help finding a hydraulic cylinder wiper

That diagram looks like the existing, a spring-loaded shaft seal. That's what I'd use; it's not super important. For some reason 22x33 wipers seem to be extra rare.

    Landpride RG10 grapple

I'm betting you'll love whatever you end up with. Before I got the SGC1060 I used forks to haul brush, mostly saplings. Having used the claw-style SGC1060 for a while, sometimes I think I should have gotten a long bottom style. The long bottom would definitely carry more brush and logs and, I...

    HTA00-37800 side bushing “boss” repair

I recently had the trunnions on my backhoe swing cylinders welded up and turned down. The shop used a CNC mill, but a conventional mill or a lathe with a big swing would do. What you suggested would work, but if you're going to be machining why not take them back to original size?
