I'm surprised that the temp gauge read normal. If the coolant level was low enough to cause overheating,I would have expected the gauge to read dead cold since there should not have been enough coolant for the temp sensor to read. Glad you're up and running.

Some years ago,I had to use an air chisel to bump loose the hyd filter on a L3540.Tough stuff.

Agreed Any universal tractor fluid will have the Extreme Pressure (EP) additives to protect the differential gears,and work well for the hydraulic system, Good Luck!

Although I have a new L2501HST(I know not the same)-and have only a hour on it,it comes to a stop smartly. The tractor does to be geared down compared to my B. High range feels like M in the B.. Looking forward to more replies! Good Luck!

I've trapped maybe 50-60 mice in the last 1-1/2 year with peanut butter baited traps. Traps were even out of stock last year around here-probably not virus related. Have you ever seen the damage porcupines can cause? They have become my sworn enemy 30 yrs ago! Good Luck!

Yes,SUDT2 is pricey,but I got a pail for $89.10 Thursday on sale. Last year it was $89.09,on sale. Purus offers a ultra low temp fluid that is not approved,but perform to spec. Rowleys about $75 retail

Since your're already spending money,maybe it's time to convert to telescoping 3PH arms. You will love them! I'm sure others will chime in. Good Luck!

I might have missed it,but having been in the trucking for 18 years in several stints,but air filters become more efficient as they get a little dirty. As the large pores become clogged,the smaller pores take over providing finer filtering. Just don't ignore it!
