    Level Indicator

As stated, it works well near the ground with the bucket. My kioti included it and I find it useful. I got forks and it's worthless with them- where level would be more important fo course.

    2nd Regen

i was told keep RPMs at 1800 plus and no 'short trips' - get it hot, keep it that way in other words. My first regen was 38 hours (kioto ck3510hst)..at 43 hours now. Regen occurred while I was disking so RPMS were up , lasted maybe 10 minutes. I too am curious how this regen stuff will work...

You can't make this stuff up...

my outback (2014) has a 4k tow rating - but does say anything over 1k needs trailer brakes. I've towed lots with mine, all local stuff and no issues or concerns.

Need info on rotary mower purchase

mowers come in 3 grades - light med and HD. LIght or med for what you plan to do - cheaper (and lighter) the HD. I had a king kutter (rural king stores carry them among others). and it was fine. Friend bought a 5' county line and uses it a LOT and has had no issues. I have both stores near...

New vs used: First tractor...Kubota BX 18XX

I bought an OLD kubota - 1973 era - and it's perfect in funtion - no runs/drips/error/leaks, etc. OK, learned a lot - mostly that I need a bigger tractor and a loader. Used what I want starts at $6500 or something 40 years old...somethong newer/decent/low hours is 10k-12k. Like you -how to pay...

    Need Pallet Fork Advice

I got the 'cheap' forks from titan for the QA - $299, 275 on sale. Got them yesterday - no quality issues, fit my kioti QA no problem. Moved a pile of lumber that was on the ground..meaning I left some ruts to get under it. No issue. Moved a monster tree trunk - 24" base and 20' long so that...

    Rear blade or snowblower?

I've used snow blowers on gravel - yes, you will throw rocks. a blade will scrape them also..so eitehr way you'll have some clean up. throwing can break things..i lost a window and a mirror on a car that way. HOWEVER - if you get a lot of repeated snow falls, freezing/thawing it's handy - no...

    Wet Area mowing suggestions wanted

tagging to learn.. got a 15 acre pasture that a previous owner put some ditches in...not sure why but they suck to brush hog over. One area that one of them drains toward is I think a spring..1/2 acre of wet area, here and there, not a single spot that I can identify, still too wet to get...

What to charge per acre/square foot for roto-tilling?

good start on the math. if you're not covering your costs you are PAYING out of YOUR pocket to till others' gardens. Sorry, but if you want to do charity there are probably mroe worthwhile folks than suburbanites that need garden tilled. You said you're a teacher- well, gardens need tilled...

Would a 5ft box blade be to big for a L175?

I have an L175 and 4' landpride. Good combo. 5'..depends what you're doing. It's gonna lift the front of the tractor (the 4' makes the front light - no loader or weights on mine). Filled with dirt/gravel..yeah, you're doing wheelies. (fun but the wife won't like it)

Running tractor tires on a zero turn

my concern would be if the turfs are slipping you're driving too hard. now the tractor tires don't slip..so that 'relief' isn't htere - the stresses are being transferred to the trans/hst units or frame. Something is gonna give. I'd rather have my tires slip than the hst units break. YMMV

    I have had ENOUGH

I've been there - with a chevy truck in the 80s and a subaru about 5 years ago. Traded the chevy on a jeep - one of the best vehicles i've owned. The 08 outback turned into a '14 (used low miles for new no miles). Been good so far. Selling an OLD kubota, just bought a kioti. Hoping all goes...

    Quick Hitch fit

I've got a titan one, like a pat's. Lower links only. Used it on my KK and now a bush hog. It came wiht bent washers that fit on the end of the link pins on the mower. Top link is the same as always. If you have a one piece QH then it may be different. Got pics?

    Buying new or used?

I've bought many things used over the years- talking cars, ok from a dealer, no issues to speak of. From individuals..cheaper, but ALWAYS you find out in the first 2-3 weeks WHY they were selling it...trans about to go, alternator about to go, etc. Used tractors..perhaps the same. I sold my...

    Brush Hog B2650

I debated what to get - the tractor is an L175 - 15 pto hp, 48" wide tractor. what needs worked is about 18 acres of horse pasture - they don't eat everything so the weeds need kept after. Talking to many folks the concensus was 48" - for power, for weight (i have no loader). Some said a 60"...
