    Reversing Wheels

I think I read in the Kubota manual not to do that with front wheels of a 4- wheel drive tractor. I'm not sure why, maybe it puts too much stress on the system.

Suitcase weights and Front end loaders

If the front end loader doesn't give you enough weight on the front end, you could always scoop up a bucket of soil to carry around.

    B6100 pto shaft odd size

Are you depressing the button on the driveshaft of the attachment that your trying to hook up? The fact that it goes on a little and then stops leads me to believe that could be the case. I've also seen thru-bolts on the end of the driveshaft that have to be removed to install the shaft and...

    Berco Soft Cab for BX

That should keep you warm on those winter nights clearing snow. I had a heater cab on my last tractor (which consists of a windshield, side doors, and panels along the side of the engine to catch heat. With no roof or back panel, I was surprised how warm it would keep me.

L2900 Hydraulic Flid leaking down drive shaft

If the leak is where the front drive shaft goes into the gearbox underneath the transmission, I had that same leak. When I got the tractor, it didn't have the cover over the driveshaft and I did some brush hogging in tall grass. The grass got caught on the exposed drive shaft and wound itself...

BX 2350 Curtis Cab heater hook up help needed

I checked our tractors today for the heater hose hook-up. One hose goes from the thermostat housing, then there is a valve in the line to shut off the water flow during warm months. This hose then goes to the heater. It leaves the heater box and returns to the lower radiator hose.

Trade 5' snowblower for a 6' or will buy

I have the same problem. I've got a McKee 5 ft. snowblower. Worked fine for my smaller Ford but too small for my L3750. I have been thinking of adding angled plates that stick out a foot or so on each side to increase the width.

    Chevy or Dodge???

We have all three brands at work that I drive. Just my personal opinions of them are; Chevy- Drives the best, car-like comfort. Ford- Most truck-like. Harsher ride Dodge- Tinny. Vague steering, bed is too high. I know people have strong opinions about trucks. I'm not really a truck guy. If I...

Should I add diesel fuel conditioner in winter for L3800

If you bought your diesel during the cold months, it will be treated. If your tank is still full of summer fuel, then add the supplement or else the diesel will gel up in the cold.

Straightening the cutting edge of my FEL

I had the same problem with a Ford tractor I had. I took it to a welding shop and they welded a piece of angle iron extending down on each side of the bucket. Then welded an I-beam between and underneath the cutting edge. Then they used a bottle jack in between the I-beam and cutting edge and...
