    Is LX2620 Enought Tractor

The LX 2620 has more than enough power for a 48" rough cut mower in most conditions, but I would not recommend anything larger. It will also easily handle a 60" MMM for lawn maintenance duties. Sounds like a good fit your needs unless you weigh it down with ballast, FEL, etc., and then expect...

    Upgrading from the beginning

If you want to be CERTAIN regarding garage door clearance, you will need to measure. FWIW, I would certainly not add a turbo to any engine or tractor not designed for such, regardless of the quality or completeness of the package.

    That's what's in mine.

    MMM for LX2610

Kubota offers only 60" and 72" mowers to fit your tractor. I do not believe that the 54" can be fitted. Your only other ("bolt-on") option is a three-point mounted mower. Be advised that used MMM decks with all brackets are difficult to find and your 72" deck will not bring much in the used...

    Upgrading from the beginning

Tractorhouse.com is a good place to start researching for prices of used equipment but be advised that prices therein are asking prices and not considered representative of selling prices. Insufficient information for much guidance regarding new 4701 replacement.

What is best position for changing hydraulic filters? L3560 50 hr maintenance

Fantastic car. Thanks for posting. I've been a motorhead all of my life and mostly a Chevy guy. In a former late 60s life, I built and drag raced small block Chevys.

    B3030 high gear

A HST transmission is not a place where one substitutes oils and/or filters unless one is CERTAIN that such substitutes are equivalent to the Kubota items. If mine, I would replace the filters with Kubota filters and the oil with Kubota SUDT2. Post back.

What is best position for changing hydraulic filters? L3560 50 hr maintenance

I did my L6060 from the side in front of the right rear wheel. Yes, removing the factory installed filters can be very tough. A strap wrench may help but install it near one end to reduce the possibility of collapsing the filters. Make sure that you have a couple of adequate drain pans and lots...

    L Series or M Series?

The L series is a smaller frame size than the M series. It is not a "lower grade." Be advised that 2WD tractors are uncommon these days and do not sell well.

    3 point hitch adjustments

Looks like a job for your angle grinder.

    Quick Hitch Adapter?

Three point scoops are also much better for excavation with small tractors than are FELS. Thousands upon thousands of farm ponds have been made with 9/2/8N Fords and three point scoops. Try doing such things with a small tractor/FEL.

Advice on hydraulic front blade choices

I had the Kubota 2672 (IIRC) with hydraulic angle option for use with my B3350 and found it to be well made and suitable for my needs. I have no experience with the LP model. FWIW, the Kubota blade uses dual hydraulic cylinders rather than a single cylinder as shown in the photo of the LP unit...

Couldn't have been made in China, could it???

Increasing L6060 loader and BH lift capacity

Bingo. Nothing wrong with so doing but increasing pressures beyond design specifications is certainly not recommended. Reasons should be obvious.

    OOPS................

Any chance that you can shorten the top link enough to get the mower mostly out of the mud?

    L2350DT flywheel resurface or replacement?

Agreed. Routinely done and makes no difference if, as is usually the case, the pressure plate mounting surface is also machined the same amount. Still, save the expense if not needed.

Increasing L6060 loader and BH lift capacity

Might want to check when the relief valves are relieving on your tractor, but I would NOT recommend shimming the valves to increase pressures beyond factory specifications.

what do you weekend warriors use for tractor insurance?

As a retired attorney, I would certainly need to see that policy.
