Have you tried to connect anything else to the new tractor ? That would give you a bit more info to find the cause of the issue.

Have you tried applying the park brake before you get out of the seat with the pto engaged ? That is what I do and the pto/tractor continues to run after I get out.

I agree about it not being any better. It does not seem to ride any better than the standard seat in my L5030 that I had. I am glad it is not just me that is disappointed in it.

I just use my pallet forks. I work from the ends inward and switch sides to keep it from tipping off one side or the other. The few in the middle I just cut 1/2 or 3/4 way through then let it fall on the pile and finish it there. You just have to make sure you don't nick the steel.

Before you do any cleaning, examine the area for a spot that has been washed clean of dirt by oil. That will be a good indication of where the leak or leaks are.

Princess auto has cat 2 hyd top links on sale for$150. It is a Hydroworks 2 1/2 x 10 inch cyl with 1" holes. Just wondering if they are any good. I am thinking now might be the time to get one. Thanks.

I am not sure if these are exactly what you're looking for but it might send you in the right direction. I see a lot of L6060's with Nokian radials on them for plowing/blowing snow. I believe the rear tire size is 400/80R24 not sure about the fronts. If you google, Nokian tractor snow tires...

Radials are always a good bet. A bit more money but a lot more tire. Just like with car, truck and tractor tires, radials almost always out preform bias ply tires.
