    Retorque wheel and FEL bolts

Personally I would rather check 100 wheels than damage one. To me it is cheap insurance. I am going to open another thread on the use of lube on wheel studs/bolts. Should make for a interesting conversation.

    Magnets

I love the idea. I can see me putting them on the outside of all my filters, engine, trans and hyd. Guess I need to get a bunch of strong magnets.

    princess auto hyd top link.

Every thing I have is cat one, so once I am happy with it I am going to put a few tack welds on the outer end bushing. I was going to use locktite bearing retaining compound, but that stuff is pretty much permanent, welds I can remove. My MF250 is cat two on the tractor side, so I will leave...

    princess auto hyd top link.

I purchased it. It came with adapter bushings ($6 each to purchase separately), the bushings fit in the tractor well. I will try the link it's self today when I measure for hoses. But things look like it should. It looks like a well made cyl and the bushings fit excellent. They slide in nice...

Is the pto shaft longer on the L4060?

Have you tried to connect anything else to the new tractor ? That would give you a bit more info to find the cause of the issue.

    Tractor seats

Have you tried applying the park brake before you get out of the seat with the pto engaged ? That is what I do and the pto/tractor continues to run after I get out.

L 6060 AIR RIDE SEAT. How to get it to work as it should.

I agree about it not being any better. It does not seem to ride any better than the standard seat in my L5030 that I had. I am glad it is not just me that is disappointed in it.

bucking on a grapple - crazy talk?

I just use my pallet forks. I work from the ends inward and switch sides to keep it from tipping off one side or the other. The few in the middle I just cut 1/2 or 3/4 way through then let it fall on the pile and finish it there. You just have to make sure you don't nick the steel.

    Steering pouring out fluid

Before you do any cleaning, examine the area for a spot that has been washed clean of dirt by oil. That will be a good indication of where the leak or leaks are.

    Steering pouring out fluid

The Cyl is going crossways in the picture. Looking at that left hand pin, it also looks like you should have new bushings. Also the Kubota workshop manuals are great assets and really cost very little compared to the information in them. They just download as a pdf file. The first thing I would...

    princess auto hyd top link.

I am not sure how much help it would be with a box blade or a tiller, but for the amount of money compared to all the other attachments, they seem like a useful thing to have. That being said, it would allow you to make fine adjustments on the go as you're grading. Some companies also make ones...

    princess auto hyd top link.

Thanks for the reply. One of the main uses I want it for, is to give more travel to the tail wheel on my bush cutter by putting the valve into float, so I think having check valves would complicate that. I also want to use it to raise the back of a few implements when transporting them. I...

    Home made cup holder

Great idea and very well made. I enjoy the thought process as much or more, as actual fabrication, on projects like this.

Anyone run R14s on LXX60 cab tractor?

I am not sure if these are exactly what you're looking for but it might send you in the right direction. I see a lot of L6060's with Nokian radials on them for plowing/blowing snow. I believe the rear tire size is 400/80R24 not sure about the fronts. If you google, Nokian tractor snow tires...

Looking for a good wheel and tire upgrade for my RTVX 1100CRL

Radials are always a good bet. A bit more money but a lot more tire. Just like with car, truck and tractor tires, radials almost always out preform bias ply tires.
