L3710 Leaking Fluid Under Front End

The hoses will need to be the correct size, length, and have the correct ends. In a confines area like the front end, you pretty much need exact replacements as there is little room for error. Lots of places, including farm equipment dealers make custom hyd hoses, but you will need the old ones...

    Broken rear pto gear

What ever caused the lower ears to be cracked/broken, is probably the root cause of the pto failure.

    How would you fall this?

I like the other two posters ideas, far more controlled. Another option is to hook a chain to it as far up as you can, then pull on it and see what happens. Have you considered cutting it where it is resting on the berm ? The lower section should hopefully stay where it is and the upper section...

    3 point lift height adjustment

Can you post a picture of the arms raised up, a side view showing the angle the arms are at, but not a close up view. Plus a rear view showing the entire rear of the tractor would be nice. From the parts break down at Kubota, it looks like the tractor is assembled correctly, but without a few...

Strange popping sound in right rear

Can you see any fine brown dust around the wheel bolts/nuts, or the wheel it's self. The dust is a sign of movement. Also can you get someone else to drive it while you walk beside it, or even jack it up and turn the wheel by hand. A small mirror works well for looking in to places you can't...

Another Newbie Contemplating a New Purchase

Lots of good advice has been given here. I would look at a small excavator over a tractor mounted back hoe. No hooking/unhooking, 360 swing instead of 180, far more maneuverable, easier to get on and off of. A excavator with a slightly smaller capacity would be more productive than a slightly...

WTB: Land Pride LR3784 or 3796 Grading Rake

Looks like a vey well made rake. Price also seems reasonable for what you're getting.

    PTO shaft size?

If the yoke is going on half way, then shaft diameter is not the issue. As the last poster stated, clean and lube the yoke, either the slide pin, or three balls, depending on the style of yoke, is/are not moving far enough. Just out of interest you could try sliding on the shaft without...

Hst pedal don't return to neutral

Your linkage looks very similar to my old L5030, I looked it up on "Kubota parts finder Canada". Mine was not nearly as bad as you're, in that it returned to neutral but would shut off the engine when I got out of the seat. The bearing that rolls against the arm that the dampener is connected...

    princess auto hyd top link.

Installed hoses and tried it out. No interference any ward. It worked excellent with the landscape rake. With the lever in float I am able to move the rod for fine alignment of the pin holes for hook up to a implement. In ways I wish it has 12 inches of stroke instead of 10, to allow for more...

So what is the cross tube for, stiffness or maybe protection for the grill ? It looks good.

    MX5400/MX6000 Cab model

I would talk to your dealer, but I see what you mean. I checked the parts list for that machine. The only thing I can think of is to get the entire assembly from something like a grand L series. I think Messicks may have a video about the mx6000 and possibly up grades.

    Tire and Rim question......please.

Are the wheels loaded ? Sometimes tubes are installed to isolate the fluid from the rim. Also check the tires to see if reads if it can be mounted tubeless or not. You could also talk to a tire shop to see what they have to say.

    Change front tire size???

Another option would be a tube, as long as the tire is not too bad.

    princess auto hyd top link.

It looks like a well made cyl and the bushings that came with it are machined not extruded. I am going to try putting the lever into float and try moving the rod manually for the fine adjustment when hooking up.

    princess auto hyd top link.

Yes, you are correct, PA is good that way. I did notice the cyl will hit the shield if I lower the cyl down all the way, once I get the hoses made and cycle the 3pt I will know for sure. I did notice the inner hyd hose will probably come close to the back of the cab so I may need to install a...

Tire & Rim - more lessons learned the hard way

A fourth option would be to reverse the other tire. Then tell people you did that on purpose for backing up. I have seem tractors set up that way, and supposedly they ride a bit smoother also. 🤷‍♀️

    princess auto hyd top link.

My tractor actually has cat two lower ends and a cat one top link mount on the tractor. My manual shows cat 1 / 2. The Kubota link has a cat 1 end and a cat 2 end. The new cyl seems to fit well.

    Lube on wheel stud/bolt threads.

Nope, just the manufactures torque spec with a tiny bit of lube.

    Lube on wheel stud/bolt threads.

I personally use a a small amount of coppercoat anti seize on wheel studs/bolts when installing wheels. I have never had a damaged wheel from one coming loose but have lost studs, nuts, bolts from seized threads that were put on dry. I also check my torque after installing wheels.
