Insurance covers damage and theft, it's not an extension of the warranty and does not cover manufacturer defects.

    Bx1880 pricing

I have exactly what you are talking about. Before you buy, consider going with the 23 HP model. Yes the price will go up, but if your serious about snow blowing, you won't regret it. Mine works well but I have a long driveway and sometimes I have to go slower than I'd like. If I could do it...

    BX2680 shuts down

Mine (1880) will also do this but only if you move EXTREMELY slow. Just barely press the pedal so it creeps along at slug speed. Press any harder it stops immediately

New BX2380 ROPS pin holes not lining up

In my case pins were correct. I had taken off the adjustment hand knobs to make easier installing a soft cab. When I put back on, didn't tighten equally and it caused a problem getting both pins in. Loosened both up, got the pins in, then lightly adjusted back until it lined up nice and stayed...

Premium UDT / SUDT is Worth it. Hug Performance Boost - 50 hr maintenance.

Dealer here left me the opened containers after doing my 50 hour service so I'd have some spare fluids to top it off. I checked the bottle, it says super udt2. This is for BX 1880.

    ROPS light switch

Waterproof prevent internals of the switch from corroding and making false contact. If you have a relay somewhere in the circuit and a fuse, you are covered. Just replace switch if and when it fails. Otherwise get one rated IP67 or better for an exposed location like that.

50" vs 55" snowblower (front) for BX.

This post might be a little late since the OP already bought something, but for others in the future maybe it helps. I have same setup as tiktok, BX1880 and the 50" standard blower. Works great. If I try to push too fast in wet snow the rpms can start to drop a bit. Typically though you start...

Add weight to tires or not?

I have loaded rear tires on my BX 1880 as well and it does not tear up grass. To be fair though, I'm in the northeast and its not swampy ground here.

What if your tractor needs change ?

I think there is a Messicks youtube video on it somewhere, but the BX23s has a different subframe than the other BX models specifically to support the back hoe. I would appear to be a lot more significant than just ordering a few parts.

BX 4 point front hitch ?

Yes, down force can be applied. However use caution and common sense. Implement such as a snow blower is designed to run in float, i.e. gravity. If you hit something under the snow the implement can kick up and over it. Put the weight of the tractor on it hit something, good chance you do...

2782B snowblower: very disappointed in ability

Watching the video just one other comment. It might be just due to the angle of view in the video but it seems like the blower is tilting backwards. Where the shoes are attached to the blower, are both screws at the same height? Seems like the front of the shoe is higher than the back. I think...

2782B snowblower: very disappointed in ability

I don't have this exact model, but a very similar one, on my BX. When the snow was wet I noticed that it would stick to the metal "safety" grate in the chute. As soon as I removed that grate, no more sticking.

Why the BX23S Is Not So Compact

I was going for sarcastic, maybe came out a little more mean than intended. No intent to be nasty there.

Why the BX23S Is Not So Compact

Seriously. You mean the one you don't want? The rusty one with all the problems? The one your dealer is supposed to be taking back but apparently has not? Let me guess... did you tell them to hold off so you can think on it some more? I hope you are not using it ... at some point this dealer...

    HST Whine.....Gone.......!

I can't see how the foam would compromise the strength. But resale would have potential to be a problem. I ran wires up through on mine for some lights. Might annoy someone in that way. I am intrigued by the results though. I may try putting something removable in there to see if I can...

Tractor Purchase Not Working Out, Getting Stressed

I don't have a 3rd function for FEL but I have the front snow blower which has its own 3rd function on it for hydraulic deflection. It does have the wire connector, and it does have an 'extra' cap to cover the connector when the snowblower isn't installed. So the dealer is correct in that...

    Snowblower/PTO load on BX2380

No, the drive ratio is different. On flat ground, blowing snow, you probably wouldn't notice much else besides the speed in high versus low. But if you had to go up a hill, the engine is going to have to work harder in high gear.

Bx2816 snow blower attachment chute clogging

generally no way for gear or chain drive to store energy by compression. however to be on the safe side, if I can't clear the snow with a tool I will just disengage the pto from tractor (easy with the front blower) then just make sure it turns freely before putting my hand in there.

Tractor Purchase Not Working Out, Getting Stressed

Chimpy I watched the video and the rust makes me wonder if it was salt water exposure that might cause more significant rust than usual.
