    Hooking up implements on dollies?

I built a dolly for my BH92 (1800 lbs) out of 2x6's with 2 large fixed wheels and 2 large castors I bought at HF. it worked fine except I used lag screws on the two castoring wheels, when I hit a little rock on my shop floor it pulled out the lag screws. So I have replaced them with 5/16 thru...

Ordered an EA Wicked Grapple today.

I have a Land Pride 72” Grapple on my MX4800 that was delivered about 4 months ago. It is THE most useful tool on my tractor. I am amazed at what it will do. I open it, stick the top down, and float it backwards picking up limbs, sticks even rocks. It works great as a rake and then you simply...

How many hours on your tractor.

MX4800 62 hours had it two months, only issue has been a few loose bolts. BX2660 280 hours had it 7 years, Only real issue is stuff gets up in the trans cooling fan, and... now that I have the MX, I realize how light it is... Great little tractor though. Just had to replace the battery.

    50 hour Service

Make sure you check the torque on the wheels even if you are going to have the dealer service it. On my MX4800 I went to check mine at the 50 hour mark and all of the front ones were loose, causing the holes to oval out. New ones on order. Also, the new hyd filter comes with the magnet already...

    Is this even possible?

Wolfman, what a great tip! I just finished leveling about an acre and put my topsoil back on, it was full of rocks and small sticks and I spent two days with my rake trying to get them out, most of the time ending dragging around a pile of dirt in the rake. Makes sense, I will give it a try...

    Oil Changes and filters

on boats with diesel engines, the engineer doing an oil change would drain the oil then fill the crankcase with diesel, crank it and run it for about 10 seconds or so, then drain the diesel which would wash the top end and crank case of old oil and sludge. M

43.1 hours and no regen as yet.

Well! Yesterday at 44.2 The regen light came on. I kept on working at 2200 RPM and no problems. The engine sounded slightly different but other than that and the light no change in the way she operated. Thanks everyone for the input. M

43.1 hours and no regen as yet.

Have had my MX4800 for a couple of weeks now, it has 35.1 hours and I have not had a regen yet. I have been reading the forum and everyone seems to have a regen between 15 and 30 hours. I run it between 2100 and 2600 RPM, varying it often as it is brandy new, and only idle it for a few minutes...

    Looking to buy

I was in the same quandary, looking at the same tractors two months ago. I decided on the L3901 when my wife spoke up and said, "Get the 4701, you will never regret the extra HP. (and the PTO is much better on the 4701). I was ordering it and the dealer said "The MX4800 is only $800 more and is...

    Woods BSS72 Box Blade

AKD, I have had the BSM 84 for a couple of weeks. It seems stout to me. I have been using it to cut down a hill and move it into a valley. I have gotten into rocks now from fist sized to some a bit bigger than a basket ball. I drag the rippers through it and it digs up the rocks. So far I have...

    Grappler Recommendations Please.....

I purchased the Land Pride GC1072 for my MX4800 and am very happy with it. It does much more than I thought it would do. I works great for picking up stumps, rocks, brush and limbs. Takes a bit of getting used to though, but once you get the knack of it you can do a lot with it. One thing...
