    Rear PTO noisy when engaged

Well, good luck with it. Please let us know the resolution of the issue. Sorry that I couldn't be more help, but there are some very knowledgeable on this forum (North Idaho Wolfman is one of them), and they will help you get it figured out.

    Rear PTO noisy when engaged

Moosebiker, your noise sure sounds like gear lash to me. I am not an expert by any means, but I do know this. Straight cut gears need more room between teeth for engagement than do bias cut gears, and they make noise at low RPM. My B2650 make the same kind of sound when the PTO is engaged with...

    Rear PTO noisy when engaged

Hello Wolfman, Any possibility that Moosebiker is hearing gear lash? Straight cut gears can make a sound like clinking metal, especially at lower RPM. The noise diminishes as the RPMs go up, especially with the PTO under load. I am not an expert here, I was just wondering??

    Help!

Thank you GeoHorn. It is an easy thing to check, and in my view should be first on the check list. I have been mentioning it each time I read about a fuel starvation issue. It happened to me once (deep in the woods) and someone's good advice helped me out. I will have to try to remember whose...

    Block heater question

Good morning DustyRusty. I did get that far, but the OP's question is still left unanswered. The OP is going to have to let us know what model number they are installing the heater in. As far as I can see, there are no pictures of the part on the web.

    Block heater question

I believe that you will have to remove a "freeze plug" and then press the fitting into the block. Take a look at the attached video. It may not reference your particular tractor but I believe that it will show you what has to be done. Well maybe "not so fast". I couldn't find a picture of the...

    Turf tires on B26

To the best of my knowledge, you should be OK if the replacement tires are of the same circumfrence. The tractor is designed to provide for somewhat more "ground covering" by the front tires when you are in four wheel drive (so that steering is not adversely affected). In Kubota speak, the...

    Determining a tractor's age

I have found Kubota Customer Care to be very helpful with inquiries of this type. Thank you for the "Tractor Data" correction.

2017 L2501 will not stay running

Please ignor the "like". I clicked on it unintentionally. Here is real long shot, but worth a try. Loosen the fuel cap and try starting and running. If it solves the problem you have a clogged fuel cap breather. If air can't get into the tank, fuel can't get out of the tank. I know that you...

6" Wheel Spacers. What's likely to break?

Just a thought. Moving the wheel out that far from the axle shaft creates a cantilevered load. Hello Henro, I guess that the design engineers could provide a detailed scientific explanation, but looking at it as a common sense answer..............................................the bearings...

    L3901 Starter

I have done business with DB Electric for aftermarket starters. . Their prices are reasonable, and they have taken care of any problems without a lot of BS. Here is the link. They are worth a look. https://www.dbelectrical.com/search-results/?search_query_adv=TC620-16800

Anyone know who the manufacturer is for this cab?

By the way, welcome to the forum. You will find that there are a lot of knowledgeable members on this site, who are glad to answer questions for newer members. During the time I have owned my Kubota (I am still a "newer member"), I have been helped out with problems, and at times I have been...

    Determining a tractor's age

Hello Hommerrichards, Nice to see a member from "down under". We are not so much interested in John Deere tractors on this forum. If you read my original post, it will provide some insight into how Kubota does things. For tractors more than fours years old, you will have to contact a dealer...

    Identifying deck models?

Hello Waubuno1 If the deck is a RC60-B (the model deck specified for your tractor), the gearbox is a 67539-99040. The gearbox is supposed to fit the RC60-21B and RC60-B decks. Messicks wants $1112.86 for the gearbox complete. I didn't check the availability of individual parts. Good luck with...

    B5100E Draw bar

After looking through the manual, that was my comment. It is a clevis hitch tow point.

    B5100E Draw bar

Hello arml, I went through the owners manual and cannot find a specific reference to the draw bar. It should be around page 34 where they talk about the three point hitch. It appears that there is a "tow point" (appears to be a clevis hitch) but not a "draw bar receiver". Send me a message...

Hello Dave, That happens far too often. One of the forum members goes out of their way to offer assistance, and they never hear from the OP again. I notice, however, that the "good guys" keep on trying! Thank you for your efforts ....................................they are appreciated (even if...
