Hello I am considering changing the r4 tires on my 2011 B26 with Galaxy Mighty Mow r3 tires of the same size. The Mighty Mow tires have almost the same weight capacity and are all 6 ply rating. Any thoughts on the tread style difference affecting the gear ratios and possible damage to differential gears when used in 4wd?

tread pattern won't affect 'gear ratios'.... however 'rolling circumference' will.
You need to find out what the OEM tires/rims have for RC, then see what the new tires/rims are

As long as they are very close in circumference you will be fine. I take it that you use it on hard surfaces and on grass?

To the best of my knowledge, you should be OK if the replacement tires are of the same circumfrence. The tractor is designed to provide for somewhat more "ground covering" by the front tires when you are in four wheel drive (so that steering is not adversely affected). In Kubota speak, the ratio between the front and rear is "gear ratio". I learned this when I asked Kubota for some drive train information. You might be OK if the new rears have a smaller circumference, but I can't quantify how much smaller is too much smaller. Please refer to the attached. I may be giving you information you already have, but better more info than less.

Good luck, and let us know how you like the tires.
