Help with Antifreeze leak in my bx2200

Take the engine covers off and check the pipes . It's a really small system compared to a SUV etc. You should be able to see staining . If you're lucky , it will only be a hose-clamp tightening required. If you can't see any clues , start it up and get it to temp and pressure.

    Do Not Buy a Kubota

A read-around the Forums indicated that other owners of this model have the same symptom ( not suggesting problem ) . Have you been in communication with them and driven another example for comparison ? Is this issue a functional problem or a sound annoyance ?

    Belly mower cutting height adjustment

Re: Belly mower cutting height adjustment and finding the "top" position. This is a set-up problem that many have ( me too ! )and is easy to fix when you know . Put height on 4" and raise deck to maximum. Cut engine and jump-off . Above the left rear tyre is the deck-lifter. It's the same arm...

    question for Mr. K

It's the same in Australia . Freight sometimes makes the deal not worth doing . Metal is heavy ,and liquids are not freightable...... We're between a rock and a hard-place with regard to using local sources because if they go belly-up , there's nowhere for heavy parts and tractor sales . As for...

    Bx2200 strange problem

I can't see how trans-oil gets into the engine block . Are you sure you haven't convinced yourself because of the perceived scent ? Isn't the driveshaft the only connection between the engine and the transmission ? Is/was the coolant discoloured when you serviced the engine , or does/did it...

    Getting the mail in style

    BX mystery photo question .....

It would appear that it's the most over-engineered paper clip known to Mankind . The BX2660 has the paperwork in the seat, hence it doesn't have the clip . I thought it was for a connection support wire for the top-link of the 3pt when not in use ; like L series.

    bx1500 powersteering woes...help!

The fact that you've isolated the fault to the left side ( having interchanged pipe-work ) rules out a main hydaulic fault . It's probably the steering assem valve . This is K2561 - 41510 . I can't see how a sealed pressurised liquid system would get air all the way down there ....... Price a...

    New BX25

3'ish litres an hour for heavy-cutting is good consumption . There was someone on TBN who kept a fuel/use log and declared 3.6litres ( US gallon ) per hour, so you're on the money .......... I'm happy at 3000rpm with the MMM . Even though the engine is governed down ( and could probably hit...
