    B8200 oil pump

Was looking at my WSM last night. Silly thing has everything but the motor in it!!! Are all the tractor WSM manuals like that? Does anyone have a manual with the oil pump replacement procedure? Thanks again.

    B8200 oil pump

Thanks bruce. Do you advise checking the screen first? Or is the oil pump prone to failure on this model?

    B8200 oil pump

Looks like the oil pump is going out on my B8200 HST 4WD. I have had the oil pressure light flickering for a couple months, so I thought I'd try replacing the sending unit...same problem (Oil level is fine). So it is likely a clogged pick-up screen, or a wavering oil pump. How hard is the...

Who makes a good Sub Soiler

I've seen a few cheapo ones at the local ranch stores, but was wondering if you guys can point me in the direction of a good sub soiler. I'll be using it in clay soil, with a few rocks. Just don't want a cheap one to break off when i run into a mid sized rock buried in the hard clay.

G5200H lost power and frequent stalling

If it was run out of fuel, the system needs to be bled at each injector. Sometimes you even have to do it 2 or 3 times to get all the air out of the system. Just don't put your fingers/hands near the injectors while bleeding. High pressure fuel squirted into your body is cause for mucho...

    B8200 oil light low rpm

Good luck with your new tractor. Changing all the fluids and filters is a must. Make sure you clean the suction screen on the right hand side of the tractor when you drain your hydraulic fluid. It always has some gunk on it. It is inside the large banjo bolt where the suction line goes into...

    B9200 HST suction screen

Did you find the suction line screen? I know the B9200 was a very uncommon model, but if it is similar to the B8200, it is just behind the large banjo type bolt just below the foot pedal on the right hand side of the tractor. You will see it likely goes back into the transmission housing. It...

Charging Light On when Key off?

If you can, try to find a local rebuild shop that can fix it for you, as it is much cheaper than new. Around here, you can usually get alternators/generators rebuilt for around 60 bucks.

    Engine oil increasing

Don't want to add a little rain to your parade, but it may fail again soon. I had the same problem, the new seal held for about 15 hrs of use, then failed again. I was very bummed. Second time around I replaced the pump for $400. I think that just enough wear happens on that shaft, that it...

    Broken rear hydraulic case

The first thing you should worry about is the force required to crack the internals/externals of a tractor. I'd bet that when the person backed it into "something" it did a lot more damage than what you can see from the outside. I would guess this is the reason they were getting rid of the...

    kubota B6000

You must have a pretty good budget if you are replacing all of the rams. Those things are pricey! Much cheaper for a rebuild. Keep us posted on your progress.

Why does this happen on a long weekend?

Fair enough firejunkie. There is a lot of power in a battery, I've seen it melt weak jumper cables.

Why does this happen on a long weekend?

Curt, glad you got it working, even if it is mickey moused. I'm sure one of the safety switches is bad. They have way too many on there if you ask me, but that is my not so humble opinion. Firejunkie, not sure why you don't agree with the screwdriver method. I've started lots of different...

Why does this happen on a long weekend?

Sounds like a safety switch isn't working. Without a voltage meter it will be hard to test them. You can try the old short out the starter solenoid with a screwdriver, but if there is a fuel shutoff solenoid that is also off, it won't start, but at least it will turn over.

    Damage to my Zen noh

I wouldn't be surprised if you could get a local auto mechanic to have a look. Heck, offer one a side job on the weekend and they'd probably take you up on it.

B8200HST - some service data required

Hey Rustbucket. That indicator takes quite a while before you actually see it glow, like 30-40 seconds, even a little more in bright light. The older tractor glow plugs take a long time to warm up, so don't worry about that. Check your PM's, I've got that project done.

    L2550 wont start

Sounds like a compression issue to me. It could also be a clogged injector that is not atomizing the fuel enough to get it to fire. Not sure how to run a check on the injector, but you can get a compression tool and see how much you have.
