    Important KTAC Insurance Update

Folks I just received my annual KTAC Insurance renewal notice. Normally I would receive in the renewal package a copy of the new KTAC Insurance Policy for the next Policy period spelling out in detail all coverages, deductions, exceptions and limitations ... but not this year. Yesterday, I...

Removing 17mm Threaded Freeze Plug from Kubota M8200

I just went through the same thing putting in my block heater. I just happened to have an impact grade 17mm hex 1/2" drive socket... have no idea where or when or why I picked it up, That and a good air impact gun did the trick. And yes ... there was some sort of sealant on the threads

    KTAC ins question?

Oh yes! I have a current annual policy from KTAC. If you are like most of us here we take our tractors off property frequently especially during the winter to clear driveways for our neighbors and occasionally trailer/tram it along public roads. KTAC makes sense unless you have $20K handy to...

    KTAC ins question?

I work my tractor... it is not a garage queen by any standard. Bought her new and do all the wrenching and maintenance myself. It is a 2000 B2410 HSD 4 wheel drive. It runs and looks like it about 2 yo. I swear by KTAC... There are at least 4 situations over the last 22 years that came too...

Even a Blind Squirrel Finds a Nut Once in a While.

For what it is worth guys and gals... This guy has a bunch of surplus stuff... he only deals in implements and parts off the implements.... lots of Deere and Kubota parts. The one thing that struck me was the number and selection of MMM gear boxes, universal drive lines and decks. He will be my...

Even a Blind Squirrel Finds a Nut Once in a While.

My 22 yo RCK60-24B MMM deck began having issues with perforation from rust and sand blasting. I would guess 80%+ of the B2410'S 2520 hrs was mowing... so it served me well. I did not envy the thought of patching hole... once you start it seems like it never ends. A new painted .replacement deck...

Kubota Mid Mount Mower Model Differences

Ok... it is my time to put on the dunce cap and go sit in the corner. My original question was simple regarding swapping one Kubota deck shell for another, ie.... a RCK60-24B to a RCK60-27B(A). Charlie, an old Kubota Tech for like 40+ years, got back to me and asked if I compared the two deck...

Kubota Mid Mount Mower Model Differences

My RCK60-24B MMM on the B2410 has the majority of the tractor's 2500 hours on it and is showing significant underside abrasive deck ware. My plan is to swap the mower deck shells out and transferring all my existing 24B parts to an almost new 27B(A) mower deck shell. Can anybody tell me the...

    New found appreciation…..

Henro... I have been playing with tractors for longer than I wish to remember, however with that being said even today.... If I could be heard over the noise of the tractor you'd hear a me saying, "Holy Crap! Ain't doing that again!!!" Still learning....

    1630 Loader Control Valve

That is a Husco Valve. This is what I replaced my Husco with. It took about an hour to switch it over to this. Did not require ANY new fittings... just a direct swap out.Hope this helps. PS.... the second picture should be familiar to you... it is the same as your current valve

Swapping gear boxes on a 60 inch deck

Not a clue on the cross compatibility of bevel gears from one model to another, however if it is any consolation.... I have felt your pain. A few years back my RCK60-24B gear box took a catastrophic dump. looked into completely overhauling the gear box. I got some sage advice from this very site...

New guy here...a few questions if you have a moment.

Welcome to the site Killerv ... Seeing as you just acquired the tractor used, I am deferring to the mechanics on OTT. They will steer you in the best direction to start you off on the right foot.

    Block Heater

Thanks Wolfman... Thank you a bunch I have to share something with you all. When I called my dealer and followed up with a picture text of the hex keyed plug to give him exactly what we were talking about... He said to be careful that plug was not part of the oil circulation cooling system...

    Block Heater

Hey K Sam.... thanks for the picture of your block heater installed. And yes My 2410 has the same 17mm hex wrench plug. I ask my granddaughter to give me a hand (literally) to get the side cover off. I just spoke with my dealer after sharing your heater installation and his catalogs do not show...
