Is a quick hitch worth it when you have adjustable links

I would buy a quick hitch if it did not add any length to the 3 ph and had the ability to adjust the width. I have numerous attachments of varying pin spacing. Might have to design and build one myself.

looking to buy a B6000E 2wheel drive 10 spline PTO yoke.

Try Weasler driveline catalog. They might have what you need. I think they even carry 10 to 6 spline adapters if you have to go that route.

    BX23S Hydraulic Fluid Bypass

I would consider that normal even on a new tractor. Always park the loader on the ground when leaving it unattended.

New kid in school, seeking advice.

I purchased a lx2610 in 2022 and maintain about 10 acres of my 88 acre farm. I initially wanted more pto hp than the lx2610 has but was talked out of it by the dealer mostly because of the 3350 issues and support from Kubota. Since I wanted to stay with Kubota I went with the lx2610. Although...

First time out with the new LX4020

You defiantly need a counterweight when using a loader or grapple. I have an MK Martin weight box that I altered and added a toolbox on top after I was disgusted by the shabby construction.

BX23S Snow Blowing With Backhoe Removed

I also use a front blower and rear blade combination. No close quarters to worry about on my 4000 foot long driveway. Blower is mostly on the surface unless the steering is not responding. I used the blade yesterday to do the final passes. I usually have to have the blade backward but this time...

    My snow removal/traction dilemma

Totally agree! Did my first major snow removal on my 4000 foot driveway last Monday since I got the tractor and blower in 2022. Have hills and ditches as well. Ice under 10” plus drifted in areas. Just amazed at the performance of the r14 tires.

Any opinions on: Powerhorse 3-Pt. Horizontal/Vertical Log Splitter

I see nothing in the pumps shown in the link that indicates a pto pump' other than the yellow one which is exactly the type I have and single stage. All the others including the one highlighted are high speed pumps that go with a gas engine. I contacted Prince at the time and nothing was...

Any opinions on: Powerhorse 3-Pt. Horizontal/Vertical Log Splitter

(Quote) I like as few engines to maintain as necessary, therefore like the idea of an 11GPM 2-stage PTO pump (really fast) on a 23HP BX. If you can find a 11 gpm 2 stage pto pump please post the link. Could not find one two years ago. All that was available were single stage. Gives great...

    Suggestions for a wood floor.

I would recommend engineered hardwood over solid hardwood. In our living room and dining room, I removed the carpet and original strip hardwood from the 60's and installed solid 3/4" Bruce oak flooring. I wasted a lot of time sorting out all the strips as there was 1/4" difference between the...

Any opinions on: Powerhorse 3-Pt. Horizontal/Vertical Log Splitter

Everyone's situation is different as has been rehashed over many times on this forum. I am a one man show so it is easier to travel a distance and have everything with me with the one trip. The tandem trailer is either behind the three-point splitter or I go in reverse with the trailer on the...

Any opinions on: Powerhorse 3-Pt. Horizontal/Vertical Log Splitter

When I was searching for a two stage PTO driven hydraulic pump there was virtually nothing available in the 540 rpm and 11 gpm range which is all I could put on my 19 hp PTO. I ended up with a single stage 11 GPM pump which works great and gives me good speed. Any greater GPM would bog down...

    Removing snow after use ?????

The shop where my tractor lives does not have any drains and is flat with radiant heating. I remove as much snow manually as I can outside before moving it inside. I then turn on a standby electric furnace to quickly increase the temperature to help melt any remaining snow. After this I...

    Manual snowblower lift

Great job! Reminds me of the wood blade that I made when I was a kid and was tired of shoveling snow on the farm. My father would occasionally give the township plow chap a couple of dollars to swing into our driveway and around the barnyard with his grader plow. I used some planks and bits and...

    Grapple width for LX4020, 56" or 66"?

I opted for the narrower 56”grapple as it is better at removing roots.

Plow snow before ice? AND asphalt vs gravel strategy?

It is a crap shoot when to plow. If the forcast is for six inches of snow with a chance of freezing rain then I wait until after so hopefully there will be just a crust on top with no ice on the bottom. If the six inches turns out to be only two inches of snow with more rain, then you have a...

What do you have for a stump grinder and would you buy it again?

For this reason I preferred the turnbuckle style that the B7200 had.

What do you have for a stump grinder and would you buy it again?

I have rented that style in the past and found them to be a real workout. If I was 30 years younger maybe.

What do you have for a stump grinder and would you buy it again?

I bought a Woodland Mills WG24 last summer and am quite happy with it for the couple of time that I have used it. They just recently added a WG24 pro to their offerings. It has a spring assembly on the swing mechanism and is around $400 more. Also, Baumalight has a IP14 that can be seen in...
