    Snowblower won't drop to level?

That is kind of what I figured and was playing around with it since I posted this. I've raised/lowered, adjusted, repeat probably 20 times, and it won't quite sit level.. Another odd behavior, which it was not doing previously, when I raise the attachment with the lever, the attachment starts to...

    Snowblower won't drop to level?

Hello- I am very new to my tractor (BX2380), I have had it just over a week, and most of that time it was at the dealer. Before the dealer came to pick it up, the snowblower worked, and dropped level to the ground, with zero issue - I was able to play with it in the little snow that we had...

    Storing Implements/Attachments?

I did a quick search, these things can hold some SERIOUS weight - https://igps.net/resources/how-much-can-a-plastic-pallet-hold/ There's a local guy selling these for $10/each - for sure going this direction. And will grab one of those scaffolds from Harbor Freight once they're back in stock.

    Storing Implements/Attachments?

For those of you that went the pallet route, have you used plastic pallets? They should last a lot longer, and to me, they look quite a bit nicer, but I'm unsure if they would actually support the weight of an attachment? I think one of those with some casters and the scaffolding is where my...

New (to me) BX and to the forum

Got the tractor back from the dealer, they did an oil change and a general service. They did discover that that leak I was seeing was from the rear PTO seal leaking, and it was two quarts low because of that - luckily the seals were covered by warranty. I will not be having them do general work...

    Replaced BX turnbuckles

Sorry, can you post some pictures as to what you're referencing? Not sure what plate you flipped over? Did you change the elbow end, so that its angling into the center? I'm not sure that would work.

    Storing Implements/Attachments?

That is a lot of attachments, looks nice and clean. Well done, will be cool to see what it looks like when finished, keep it up!

    Storing Implements/Attachments?

Currently Harbor Freight has them at $239 or $219 if you're a member, not sure what Gibby paid, but that seems pretty reasonable - they do only have one shelf, and I'm not sure what you'd add as a second shelf?

The tractor does have loaded rear tires, I'm not sure how much weight that adds? And reading above about totes, I wonder if you could fill one with concrete (let harden) and use that as a big block for weight, shouldn't have to worry at all with anything moving/sloshing around. I will say...

New (to me) BX and to the forum

I called them today, since its not for a business purpose, they cover the tractor and attachments up to $20k for no additional cost to the homeowner's policy - they said they can add coverage for the new replacement cost of ~$28k with all the attachments, but since I bought it used, I don't feel...

    Storing Implements/Attachments?

This is pretty brilliant, didn't think about scaffolding, and the ability to move it around.

New (to me) BX and to the forum

Luckily I only have a chunk of property that's just under 1 acre, and if you remove the house/driveway/garage, I think I'm left with about .45-.5 acre to maintain, so the BX should be more than enough. I do have a bunch of trees with mulch beds under them, so mulch will be one of the main things...

    Storing Implements/Attachments?

I reread that thread, and someone in there mentioned 'heavy pallet racking', a quick search, and the box stores appear to have this stuff in stock, seems like it may be the right thing for the task -...

Got it, I had a bit of a hard time following that thread, as some said they were able to do it without moving the engine out of the way, thanks for clearing that up for me. Makes me much less intimidated than I was 24 hours ago :) Makes sense, I'll just let my insurance know I now have a...

This is also very cool - do you have any dimensions? I didn't see anything in the thread you linked to.

That was kind of what I had in mind with the manual winch and pulleys, good to see what yours looks like though, good reference.

    Storing Implements/Attachments?

Looking on their site, you can get cheap wooden ones for less than $10 each, is it worth it to get the plastic (polypropylene) versions for $30 each? Both versions state they'll hold 1000 lbs.

    Storing Implements/Attachments?

I'd quickly sell the tractor before I make my wife park her car outside, even before we bought her a new car this year.

I could not find any rolling pallets on Harbor Freight's website, I'm assuming you mean equipment dolly's?

    Storing Implements/Attachments?

No way would I do that, she's the pants wearer of the family, and I already get 3 out of our 4 garage bays. Rolling pallets sounds like an interesting idea, only concern there, I continue to lose the floor space I'd like to keep for working on these machines.
