Are You Going to? How many? What Kinds? How Often? - ROFLMAO

Magic - - You can’t make a correlation or prediction between vaccine reactions and actual COVID infection severity in an individual. It is a very interesting and understandable theory.... I spoke with someone today that had bad Moderna reactions both 1 and 2. They often get flu-like illness...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Re-grading driveway base before putting down new stone. All about water control here at the bottom of the hill, and it needed some improvements. First time I wished I had hydraulic top link, and more so, NHSledogg’s hydraulic scarifier control.....👍 Got it about where I want it...

    Narrow Rear Wheel Source M8540N

The wheels and centers commonly used with Ag (R1) Tires can often be adjusted for width. Some R4 (industrial) and R3 (turf) are not adjustable for width, depending on the tractor. This is not your tractor model, but it shows adjustment options for an "L" series Kubota...

    Shed upgrade started

Saw the conversation of crusher run cost. I’m hoping to have a load delivered before the weekend. $165 for material (~15 yards at $11/yd) plus $100 hauling. Haul is about 15 miles. Never bought from these folks, so hoping it’s good stuff....first time trying crusher run for driveway topping...

Are You Going to? How many? What Kinds? How Often? - ROFLMAO

Rabies is nearly 100% fatal to humans. Humans are one of the most resistant mammals to the terrestrial version of rabies. I used to handle rabid or suspected rabid animals on a regular basis.....sometimes several a day or week. The Rabies vaccine has gotten much better, but it’s known for...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

The ‘Moline is still sleeping from the winter, so used the Kubota to scrape more of the 50+ years of leaf buildup off the slab on the property next door. That was a 3-story chicken coop many years ago. Slab is about 30x120’ and in surprising good shape. There’s another driveway into it on the...

    BX2680 Quick Hitch?

There are bushings sized for both top and lower pins. I keep them on the implement.

    B8200 - Creeping slowly

Sometimes the damper can be finicky on an HST. It's shown in second picture. Try a parts diagram...agree to legal the put in B8200 and pick HST 4WD. May give you a good idea how it all hooks together. https://apps.kubotausa.com/illustrated-parts/ The linkages are the last 2 diagrams...

    B8200 - Creeping slowly

I think the Workshop Manuals (WSM) for HST tractors commonly have instructions for adjusting "creep" out of the linkage... Maybe try here for a WSM: http://kubotabooks.com/

    BX2680 Quick Hitch?

    Just slide a 2 to 1 on, then a 3 to 2 over that, and you're out to Cat 3 diameter. https://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/product/countyline-category-2-to-1-top-link-bushing https://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/product/countyline-category-3-to-2-top-link-bushing

    Daily Chuckle

I actually saw a Renault Le Car on the road today. I didn’t think there were any left, and this one looked like it was on its last legs. For anyone that remembers them, it made me chuckle....😜😀

    Bought it!

Super! Had a BX 8 years. Really like it, and I’m sure you will too! Just remember, if there are no pictures....it didn’t happen! :)

    Sale of tractor taxes

Yep - I agree with Hokie. I’m no expert, but private sales of personal property don’t require any reporting I’m aware of. That said, understand some states do treat personal property differently than others.

    Front Axle Oil Level

River - - it's kind of a common thing. We've mentioned it here on OTT for a while. I changed mine early-on, but it sat on a sales lot for quite a while. It was very low, and that was 8 years ago.... The new tractors now haven't sat around, but they commonly are low or dry, as others mention.

    Daily Chuckle

If you try to lift the 3-point hitch on your pickup truck before moving, you might be a tractor guy.... I tried that today, but there isn't a lever on my right side......😳

    BX2200 Misfire and Dark Coolant

Just for giggles, start it from cold and take radiator cap off. Just an idle and when cold, so nobody gets burned. If there are bubbles in the top tank of the radiator, it's a decent indication of a head/head gasket is issue. Not definitive, but a good rule of thumb.

    FEL slowly goes down.

Some amount of leak-down can be expected under these circumstances, the machine not running and with a load on in it. There are accepted tolerances of the amount of drop over time, and probably vary with tractor series/model.

    BX 2230 box blade

I’ve used a 48 on a BX for 8 years. Done yard regrading, driveway profiles, snow pushing and pulling....favorite implement. While a 54 will gain some width, a 60 is too big. Depending on light/medium/heavy duty, a 60 may be all your tractor wants to pull, even empty. I’m certain I...
