Our 3 month old German Shepherd pup. His coat is a oddball color "isabella". This guy is sharp and is one of the easiest Shepherd puppy's we have ever had.

    frozen backhoe pins

If there is enough clearance to cut the pins with a sawsall that would help. Before you go crazy and make the job worse call a couple of professional welders near you and find out if they can burn through the pin with a thermal lance.

    frozen backhoe pins

I have removed some large stuck cylinder pins from cranes, I would weld a long bar to the pin and use a porta power, jack or another machine to rotate the pin.

    Suggestions for a wood floor.

I personally like unfinished flooring if your going with solid wood, it does not apply with engineered wood. Pre-finnished wood flooring typically has rounded edges vs unfinished that has sharp edges. If you look at a properly installed wood floor that is sanded smooth and then finished it looks...

    Suggestions for a wood floor.

If you are installing a real wood floor you should bring the material into the house and let it sit for a month to let it expand to the humidity level in the house. Even with that depending on the local environment you may still get gaps between the planks. The best sealer is gloss moisture...

Wrist watch connoisseurs, DO NOT read this thread!

One day were shopping and we walked into a fine jewelry store and a watch caught my sons eye. The clerk walks over and asks if he could help. My son points to a Patek Philippe and asks "can I see that watch" the clerk smiles and says of course and hands my son of 8 years the watch. My son looks...

    Is Everything Attachments open again?

No way I would pay all up front and wait months for an item. This spring I was looking for a grapple I liked the EA but found out they were not in business. I called a manufacturer that also makes good Grapples and when they told me that there was a two month lead time and they charge your card...

    Glow plug controller

On my small yanmar excavator the ecu simply powers a relay to turn on the glow plugs, it uses the temp sensor on the thermostat housing for temp readings. The digital screen will display the glow plug symbol but the symbol is simply a bulb connected to the glow plug relay not to the CAN buss...

    Tire choice for snow removal

I really dont have enough time on my R14 and snow to make any claims but they appear to work OK in 6-7 inches of snow for plowing and moving material. My property is near the top of a mountain so its either uphill or downhill. Moving material uphill the R14 tires did fine but plowing uphill...

Interesting data on Engine wear vs prefilled vs non filled oil filter changes.

While the validity of the test can be argued I do believe 100% that most wear happens while the engine is warming up. I remember NYC Crown Vic taxi cabs being sold at auction with 350K to 410K miles on them and they were still running.

    Grapple options for the L2501/LA525

@nerwin The dual clam grapple that you posted looks good but one thing you must consider is the weight of the implement because you have a compact tractor with say 1100 lbs capacity. I have a L3302 so we have nearly identical tractors and I am using a 55" root rake grapple and it has been...
