B2410 HSD - Crank Shaft Front Seal Leak

So my little B2410 started hemorrhaging oil the other day - I've traced the leak to the seal on the drive pulley on the front of the block on the crank shaft. From looking at the exploded parts view, this doesn't appear to be a major undertaking (at least not to the tune of pulling the shaft...

    Kubota LA300 FEL

As expected, my dealer was pretty much useless. Their response was basically "the factory loader for the B2410 is an LA351. We are unaware of any adapter kit". Hell, I can't even find information on dimensions of the loaders to see if it is feasible or not - Kubota is pretty poor on...

    Kubota LA300 FEL

Will this loader fit on a B2410? The factory FEL for the B2410 is an LA351 - I can live easily with some reduced capacity if the LA300 frame will fit on my tractor. Unfortunately I am unaware of any cross reference guide for Kubota equipment and tractor models.

    LA301 FEL vs LA351 FEL

Ok, just looked both up on Kubota's website and the only difference that I can discern is that the 351 has a wider bucket than the 301. From what I could see, every single part number outside of those were exactly the same. Surely somebody out there that is far more knowledgeable can confirm...

    LA301 FEL vs LA351 FEL

I have a B2410, and I know that the stock FEL for this little tractor is the Kubota Model LA351. However, there is a local guy that has a LA301 FEL that he may part with off of his B7100 tractor. My google-fu is not strong as I was unable to really locate much information on specs and whether...

    3 Point Lifting Capacity

Figured out my problem. Slightly low on fluid, but not really enough that it would make a difference. The biggest part of the problem is that there was some mechanical linkage that needed adjustment between the control arm of the 3 point and the actual actuator for the piston. My crassness...

    3 Point Lifting Capacity

Just up off the ground a hair. I disconnected the mower and operated the 3 point - it will only go about 1/3 of it's full range of motion. I can easily operate it the rest of the way/pick the arms up, so it's not binding anywhere internally. I was thinking bad o-ring, but i'm not losing...

    3 Point Lifting Capacity

I have a B2410 and just figured out the routing of the hydraulics so that both my front blade and 3 point lift operate. I have a Land Pride FRD1660 finishing mower, which weighs about 575 lbs or so on the 3 point. My 3 point should be able to lift around 1200 lbs 24" from the back of the...

    Help a Newbie

Ok, here is what I have. I've included a picture of the valve, the two front ports on the tractor and the rear port on the tractor. Each picture is labeled with how the hoses are currently routed, which is obviously not the correct way. I'm guessing that it's probably a matter of switching 1...

    Help a Newbie

I've looked through the articles. Hell, I've looked pretty much everhwhere without any luck. Even asking questions I seem to hit brick walls with other Kubota owners. I'm guessing that it must be some rite of passage to figure it out yourself.

    Help a Newbie

I don't have much in the way of trees, and try to keep them fairly pruned, but I will take your advice for the couple I do have. Picked the FDR 1660 (even the same orange as my tractor) up Saturday. After about an hour going over it and getting it hooked up, it worked like a champ. Had the...

    Help a Newbie

For me it will be tight quarters in the back yard. A few areas would be a pain with a pull behind, but probably only the first few times. I actually have decided on pull behind - found a nice used Land Pride that I"m going to negotiate on this weekend. Turns out that in order to get the...

    Help a Newbie

I've thought about a pull behind finish mower, but it won't be nearly as practical for most of the area I need to mow versus a belly mower. I'm not totally against the idea though, just weighing out my options.

    Help a Newbie

I recently aquired a B2410, with the intention of finding a 54" or 60" belly mower and using this primarily as a mowing tractor for my little parcel of land. However, entering the world of tractors is confusing. From what I can tell, I need an RCK style deck, but in looking around, finding the...

    New to me B2410

I will get some pics up tomorrow. In talking with the guys at the dealership, the routing may not be wrong - I just need to re-route a couple of lines to make life easier and basically get them out of the way. In short time I expect to have the 6 way blade off the tractor anyway.

    New to me B2410

So I bought myself a new to me B2410 over the weekend, with the primary purpose being mowing the yard (still need to find me a good 60" deck). However, in the mean time, I intend to play around with it and get familiar with operation. Short of getting an operator's manual and service manual...
