First Snowfall - Rear Blade Adjustment - how many of you do this ?

This is my plan as well this year. Just got the 2601 but have been blowing my 500' gravel driveway with a Honda 32" tracked blower.........my plan is reverse the blade (regraded the driveway the other day with it so it is at least flat(ish) before it freezes up) angled off my right rear wheel...

    Delivery Day for the 2601.......

At I think 5000 lumens these things are pretty damn bright. I did the night test the other day.....plenty bright for blowing snow.....especially with the white of the snow reflecting etc. It is a pretty good kit.....and really with a spare pile of zip ties you could easily pull it for the...

    Delivery Day for the 2601.......

It is. Impressive quality and well thought out. The one thing I would caution, if you are envisioning a very clean "hidden wire" type install like people have done on the interwebs then this isn't the kit. It is externally mounted with large zip ties and the lights come pre-wired to the...

B2601 Treadle Pedal hard to use

I only have a couple hours on mine since getting it last week. I noticed the stiff reverse pedal but honestly I already got used to it. It isn't that big of a deal to me but I can certainly understand how everyone else's situation is different.

    Delivery Day for the 2601.......

Yesterday, took a partial day off and graded the driveway with the rear blade. Small learning curve with the rear blade. Happy with the results. Also installed the ROPS lights. This kit was made to be mounted externally on the ROPS so zip ties worked......

    Delivery Day for the 2601.......

Folding the ROPS.......I couldn't think of anything that could be easier....of course I came 3" from ripping my garage trim off then realized it needed to be folded at least part way down. I was also happy to see they are including that tension knob that the BX used to have to tighten the ROPS...

    Delivery Day for the 2601.......

Well to be fair the house and garage were built new last year.......and the tractor is only in there for a couple days as I kicked my wife's SUV out......because my car is in the other bay and I couldn't possibly move that because my truck was in the way lol.....see how that works? And the...

    Delivery Day for the 2601.......

Big day finally arrived. When I got the call the tractor was ready I caught on to the fact they kept saying "Box Blade" and I had ordered the RB1560.......rear blade....well honest mistake they had prepped a BB1260......which I probably would have gotten in the Spring anyways. So.....just keep...

    Trigger Pulled on B2601

Good to hear you have had luck with the loaded turfs........we have a significant grade so I am going to grab a good set of chains, but might give "without" a try just for a reference point. The Block heater feels like a no brainer......thanks for the confirmation. 85Hokie - Thanks....that...

    Trigger Pulled on B2601

Now that the tractor is on order........I could use a little advice /guidance as I of course "need" a few things.... Back Blade......thinking EA Delux 6 way in 6' as it will be run on an angle for snow etc. and thinking 5' might be too narrow on an angle. 3pt Quick Attach - Was thinking...

    Dealer Question

I ordered mine this week and the dealer said they have had models on order for a number of weeks and anticipate another 6ish weeks for delivery. They said they are running out of things to sell, meaning demand vastly is out-pacing supply based on the previously mentioned production challenges.

    Trigger Pulled on B2601

Thanks sir. Wheel Spacers are already being put on prior to purchase so that is a good thing. Your points make 100% sense, thanks. I took care of the snow in NH last year with a very nice Honda tracked 32" blower which is fantastic.....but 500' on the days when I needed to do it multiple...

    Trigger Pulled on B2601

Newbie to the Orange forums (but not forums in general) and happy to report I put a deposit down on a new B2601 the other day. We have 2 properties of ~5 acres and 8.5acres in NH and northern VT respectively with our primary having a 500' gravel driveway with a steep grade up to the road and...
