    Tractor Supply Price Shenanigans

That home store trick is interesting and may not be around long lol Good luck.

Do you like your LAND PRIDE 48" Box blade?

So, how is it going for you? Happy with the purchase?

    Snowblower Help !!! BX2830 48" Commercial Blower

Narrowed it down to the hydraulic line on the blower for the "blue" line......the hydro on the tractor works fine as the FEL was perfectly fine. I figured out the switch as I missed an electrical connector during install. I'll call the dealer as they need to come out and install wheel...

    Snowblower Help !!! BX2830 48" Commercial Blower

OK..........so today was FEL to Blower changeover day. Got the FEL off (right side "kick stand" doesn't want to lock easily so we'll deal with that) so FEL off. Mounted the subframe and blower no problem, nice system.....10mins..... Connected all hydro 4 lines. Chute will only rotate to the...

    Day One List

Now that I have ~10hrs on mine I feel close enough to the place you are now. Triple recommend the need to know exactly where the FEL bucket is and where the edges are at all angles etc. If you saw one of my posts in past couple weeks I took out a tire on our horse trailer just "driving by"...

Do you like your LAND PRIDE 48" Box blade?

Yeah, truth be told I ordered a RB1560 with my 2601 and the dealer prepped a BB1260 instead by accident, they were going to swap them out and I just told them to cut a decent deal on the BB and put the rear blade on the delivery truck too as I would have bought a BB in the spring anyways...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Well done. I need to get a few extra clips as I mentioned in the other thread. You will like the box. After watching a few videos on people using box blades and understanding how the top link length impacts the whole shebang is key. I haven't had to use the scarifiers yet and have them set...

Do you like your LAND PRIDE 48" Box blade?

I was thinking the same approach. I believe the same relationship with shear bolts. I like the build quality of the Land Pride BB but I would have preferred a design like others with through-pins with clips vs. the "spacer" clips. I already dropped one into the frame once and had to extract...

Do you like your LAND PRIDE 48" Box blade?

I have the 1260 and so far it has done everything I could want......nice unit. I could see purchasing some more of those little clips that hold the scarifiers/tines in at the desired depth. They look like a "consumable" item.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

The weather certainly can cancel plans quickly for projects. I'm thinking I'm done with the bucket for now and this weekend I'll swap over to the snowblower for the first time. Should be fun......

Gas station etiquette. Pull through at the island.

You can also be stranded looking like a nozzle if you pull up behind the first car then he takes off after you started pumping.........strands you there looking inconsiderate. The folks that go inside for a coffee and chat and leave the vehicle parked at the pump. I also deplore the folks that...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Got 5yds of stone delivered Saturday morning, had the pile at 8am. By 10:45 I had stone in the drainage ditch (will rework it in the Spring) and spread stone over the "tractor road" around the other side of the house that I spread loam on last week to level it off enough for transit to the...

How do you store your Box Blade?

I modified my original pallet and I think it should get me through until I have a more permanent solution. We are working on plans to build out a oversized detached one bay garage with a lean-lo on the side and that will allow me to do the "dolly" thing......eventually

How do you store your Box Blade?

Would love to go the dolly route but things will be stored outside for a while..........if/when I build another auxiliary garage/shed/barn with a floor I will go the rolling dolly route.......baby steps....

How do you store your Box Blade?

Thanks for the responses, I figured the magic solution was "modify the pallet" which was my plan as I have a decent amount of PT 2x lumber (which is like gold in the summer of 2020) lol

    Adventures in "Tractoring"......5-6hrs in......

Certainly seems like a lot of people have had that bottom corner of the bucket grab something it wasn't intended to.......hopefully it is the only time I do that.......that being said, I'm not dumb enough to be surprised if I do it again along the line. Hopefully it won't be on something...

How do you store your Box Blade?

So until I have the ideal implement storage setup, finding a level spot at the back of the yard is really my current option. That being said I need to come up with a modified pallet solution to store my BB1260 level and ready for the Quick Hitch to grab it. The blades on the back and tines on...

    Adventures in "Tractoring"......5-6hrs in......

So with somewhere near 6 hours on the B2601 so far I gotta say I love it. Overall a very easy tractor to operate but of course it hasn't been without its "moments". In the first couple hours I graded the 450' up hill section of the driveway with the rear blade as it only needed some minor work...

    Delivery Day...Finally!

I got mine a week ago, so know the feeling. You will love it. Very easy machine to use and get used to. Well build and well designed.

First Snowfall - Rear Blade Adjustment - how many of you do this ?

GP Outdoors did it I believe in one of his videos from a couple years ago. I did it the other day while grading my driveway, dirt and snow will behave the same.......I used the RB in the traditional position to "dig" up my slight center hump in my driveway and angled it to the tire tracks that...
